  1. The whole car is miserable. Offset is wrong, bumper is wrong, it's got those viper wings and pointless cutouts in the rear quarters which is wrong. The whole car looks like it was thrown together in an afternoon. The two tone paint job is done so poorly, you begin to think that it was dreamt up by some chavy 6th formers for their Graphics project which they'd be graded 'F' in. Who's idea was it to leave the mirrors silver!!?? Every last bit of that car looks a mess. /fail
  2. LOL! Thanks Chris. :duffer:
  3. Cav GSis rock. There are very few around now, rarer than Zs I reckon! I saw one 2 days ago in good condition and they do still have good road presence. Lovely neatly designed saloon car. Nice window line, nice balanced shape. Good car for the era. Here's my old one. I fitted H&R springs to it and Bilstein shocks and it went round corners like it was on rails. Really did handle very well. It was one of the very few cars that I actually miss.
  4. Does anyone know what this is? For the non-SRS equiped Z32s. Thanks

  6. I'd go for something like this if you can...
  7. I'd stick with those. Much nicer than the clear ebay ones. The clear ones just don't match the fog lights. I'd remove the amber bits and refit. Will look balanced then. :)
  8. It took you 4 months to realise that?!
  9. LOL! Narrr. I managed to get into the qualifying for the under 18s national championships many moons ago for freestyle and butterfly. Shame I didn't stick at it as I was one of the quickest butterfly swimmers for my age at one point in the South West.
  10. TBH, I don't really see the difference in check control windows...obviously the one I posted is LHD, but look at the smaller check controls, they aren't that different in size.
  11. Really? I've never had that issue. ;) I guess they are beneficial for track cars, but can't see much use for them other than that. The best way to let turbos and engine to cool down is to drive off boost for the last 5 mins of your journey. :)
  12. Now you mention it, I can see the difference in the panel. As for the sizes, here's a comparison with the old Profec-B. Slightly taller, but similar width.
  13. I would have suggested a boost controller. But you already have one of those! LOL ;) Find turbo timers a bit of a waste of cash. Plan ahead, far better than letting your car cool down on idle.
  14. It's actually a turbo timer I think. But I think it's similar in dimension to the Profec-B.
  15. I know. Looks good, but want to keep my clock.
  16. Fit something useful there, not a turbo timer. lol ;)
  17. I've never liked having clutter on the dash, ruins the nice swooping lines of it, so something like this makes perfect sense. I had thought about getting an Apexi AVCR and hiding it away in the centre consol. But I think I'll go down this route.
  18. Think this was you on the old forum.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=74232&highlight=yellow+torquay Guess your username has now been removed. Not sure why.
  19. I was expecting a thread saying something along the lines of 'I caught my missus shagging the milkman'. /fail ;)
  20. Exactly, you don't need to do that with this, well you do, but they are much easier to wring the water from. As for the dirt, everyone's dropped the chamios occasionally and if you have large ones, then sometimes they might drag. They take ages to get the dirt out of properly, where as these, the dirt just floats away when submersed. They have a semi rubbery feel to them when wet even though they absorb. They are not like a towel. They feel part like a chamois and party rubbery. Very hard to explain. When dry, they feel like cardboard. Strange things. Need to be used wet just like you would with your chamois.
  21. Yes, I hate chamois leathers, even expensive ones. They just don't last and do a crap job. I think they are similar technology. I had thought they might be the same as the MF drying towels. But I'd imagine they may be cheaper. These are £10 each, which, when you look at the price of a top quality chamois, is pretty good.
  22. I've never really got on with chamois leathers, they leave streaks and when new, need to be cleaned for ages to get the tanning dye out of them. Then they perish and fall to bits after a while. The alternative, synthetic chamois are crap. They just don't seem to absorb fluid and end up feeling like you're drying the car with a damp towel...which leaves streaks and all sorts. Also, chamois leathers collect dirt easily. About 10 years ago, I'd gotten fed up with my chamois leather and ended up finding an old Speedo type sports towel that I used to use at swimming galas. I've had the same thing since. It's fantastic. Acts a little like squeegee, but is soft and easy to use and has absorbant properties as well like a chamois does. It doesn't streak, smeer, leave marks or attracts dirt/grit. I've just had to buy another one as, believe it or not, I seem to have lost the old one. But I'd still use it now if I had it. Outlasts chamois leathers by a decade, both synthetic and natural ones AND does a much much better job. Just thought I'd add my recomendation for the day. :) These are the same too and infact was the make of the old one.
  23. The rising cost we see at the moment has zero to do with the labour party. Prices of fuel are going up world wide. Europe's fuel prices are the same as the UK, infact I believe in places, they are more expensive.
  24. Not all do. Mine doesn't. I have a Fuji Finepix S700. Fantastic camera and it uses SD cards. 7mega pixel and 10x zoom. The video playback is also very good quality.
