  1. Question has been asked many times Murt, did you decat? Crap would have burnt off after about 10 mins of driving.
  2. Before changing the boost, please please get an uprated chip from AndyP or John Dixon!
  3. No, it WON'T fit straight in. It'll sit at the wrong angle if you simply bolt the existing OEM brackets to the HU. You'll need to spend some time drilling holes and setting it at the correct angle, height and depth. Took me all day pretty much. to get mine spot-on. I made templates etc after purchasing a 2-din fascia from Z32-zone for my Alpine touchscreen.
  4. Cool, then at about 1 or 2, off to the pub for some grub. :)
  5. LOL, I didn't see the wheels. Just the extreme front corner.
  6. Don't think it's anyone's on here. But I caught sight of the front quarter in one of the car parks. It was last week sometime. Think it was Tuesday.
  7. What's the total number of cars running now then? Those that are listed or are there a few more? 9 isn't bad.
  8. Personally don't like black wheels in the slightest. The car looses presence and the wheels loose all definition. A gun metal grey is a far better half-way house IMHO. You can't beat silver/shadow chrome. Gives a nice crisp and fresh appearance when new.
  9. Thanks. :) I'm a business development engineer. I'll be doing a similar job when I start with my new company except I'm changing industries slightly. Moving over to the electronic OEM market.
  10. I got a job offer on Friday last week which I am over the moon about. Got increasingly sick and tired of the company politics, the way the company treated people, some individuals within the company, the fact that my job spec had changed numberous times that I decided to look for employment elsewhere. The company I will now work for have been hunting for the right person for 6 months, so it gives me more of a sense of accomplishment to get the job. My final interview was with 5 people over 2 seperated interviews which was quite daunting, but I obviously did well as there was absolutely zero negative feedback from any of the interviewers, even the MD! Well, I'm kinda into limbo with my current job. Obviously I am now going to hand in my 1 month notice which I am happy about, although feel a little sorry for my boss as he's been a great mentor and very good boss. But, I just don't know what to do today. I was supposed to go into the Bristol office today, but don't even know if I can be bothered with that. Might just leave the house late and drive to a different office. Feel a little dis-jointed actually, a little like the company I work for!
  11. My car's pretty much how I want it now. But a few detail things I want to do. Rear bumper is marked slightly, so want to have that re-painted. Some light scuffing on the near side wheel which needs polishing out, chip on the spoiler needs doing, new windscreen cowl, fit the amp/sub and get some new t-top corner peices and have them painted.
  12. Hope you don't do it. Makes the car look tired and is very unflattering.
  13. Scooter? Bwhahahahaha hahahahhaha!
  14. You had real bad gurgles in the stomach whilst queuing at the post office, had real bad urges and stomach pains and without warning you shat your pants all over the place infront of a load of hot 18y/o college girls with big tits and shirt skirts.
  15. Black wheels aside, it looks lovely. Nice unmolestered example.
  16. You don't see that many decent Zs full stop anymore! You have any photos of it? I know photos don't always tell a lot, but would be nice to see.
  17. The same people that screw side skirts and other odds and ends to their car. It's not uncommon to bold things like CD changers etc to the boot floor.
  18. You can add a chip to the back of the dashclocks that fool the ECU in reading a lesser speed relating to MPH. So 30kph will relate to 30mph. Unfortunately, this has a knock on effect with the HICAS operation. But it'll all work, it'll just become active at a different speed.
  19. Great. I have to drive down the M4 tonight enroute to Gravesend!
  20. This will make you laugh, a friend of mine used to co-ordinate a B&Q call centre which catered for enquires about products bought from them. Some of the queries were hilarious and they were all recorded. This particular example, an old guy calls up, bit dithering on the phone and says he's bought a hedge trimmer but can't find the electric lead. He's at a lost cause. After a lot of ‘over the phone testing’, the old chap eventually reads over the product key for it, only for the phone operator to discover that what this chap has actually bought is infact a petrol powered hedge trimmer. Even after this is discovered, the old man insists there's a fault with it and wishes for them to send it back to have an electric lead fitted. Was absolutely hilarious to listen to as he just couldn't grasp what he'd bought and what he should have bought.
  21. Any distance in the UK is worth it if it's a good one. I'd not hesitate at travelling for a good one.
  22. I had Richard Smith and Z32 boffin Gio along with me when I went to look at mine. :)
  23. I know about the gentleman's aggreement and that was to restrict power to 280bhp?? Not to write bullcrap in their sales documents. It's why the Z only runs 9PSi stock?? They are a de-tuned engine.
