  1. @ the people getting all defensive on the youtube comments. If you listen to how the guy says it, it's just a light hearted poke of fun at July 4th. With the phrases 'freedom bag water' and 'they stole our language', it's quite obviously light hearted satire.
  2. The fat bloke on the right. Sid Little is on the left. Little & Large was just a terrible 80s comedy duo that was on BBC1 iirc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-bq3tG98XM
  3. Just found out from a mate down the street that Eddie Large has moved into a house further along my road. Apparently he's lived in this area for some years now. Might give him a nice neighbourly welcome and tell him how crap him and Sid were!
  4. Hold up guys!! I actually take some of this back!! I met a 350Z owner at the petrol station earlier today, not only did he wave, but he drove round and had a nice long chat with me. He's from the Birmingham area and his father has a white UK spec Z32 which has one a few show and shine or best in show awards Zclub I think. Anyway, he wants rid of his 350 and he's after a good UK spec Z32!! Says he prefers them!
  5. Just dug out some old albums I used to listen to and 2 of them were Dream Theater. I dunno why I stopped listening to these, just realised how good they are! Awsome guitar and tunes!! Might get my Joe Satriani albums out now as it's got me into loud guitar now!!
  6. If you wanted a really clean example of the MK1 Cosworth, then be expected to pay LOTS! Around the £10,000 upwards figure. For what it's worth, I think they look cool and retro (incl the XR4i), but that's as far as it goes, they rust...worse than a Z32, they have absolutely no creature comforts, they have far less power as a stock Z32 TT, they don't sound as good and I couldn't put up with this dashboard! LOL
  7. I'm down from the 28th which is the Monday through till the Thursday, so Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.
  8. They are called 'din' slots actually. I thought you were on about poor lighting at first! LOL
  9. dim gauge panel? Or do you mean din gauge panel?
  10. At what point wouldn't it be better to get rid of the current boring Golf and replace it with that. As a coupe it's utter shite, but as a cool little hatchback, it looks ok.
  11. You'll need bigger rear spacers then. Guess you'll have to mod the inner arch a little more. Offset is everything. :)
  12. Well one's a soothing bum gel and the other's a cutting paste, but if you think it'll work Mark, be my guest and shove it up your arse! ...always wanted to say that! :D
  13. I second that, but always end up buying autosol as it's always on the shelf! LOL I've used Belgom a number of times and it's much nicer to use and gives better results over autosol.
  14. Feels like Christmas? I fookin hope not! LOL Nice stuff Dave! Let me know how you get on with the single peice prop as I am considering getting one next year.
  15. Yeah, but it's not the thing you say imediately after something like that, unless you're some kind of detective It's like seeing a photo of someone getting run down by a train then saying 'oh, he was probably trying to blow it up'.
  16. You're the only person who thought 'maybe she's faking it' and made a point of it rather than 'christ, that's horiffic' like most compassionate human beings. Which is what people find as disturbing as the video itself.
  17. Makes a huge difference. The offset I changed by 3mm and is now a +35 on a 9.5 wheel which is about the most I can get out of stock un-rolled arches and the fronts I'm on a +25 on a 8.5 wheel. I wish I'd have gone for a little more on the fronts and got them to a +20. The fronts were where I noticed it the most. It was originally on a +45 offset and looked a little goofy especially with my tired old springs giving excessive negative camber. Happy with how it turned out with just a but of playing about. Offset is key to a good stance. :D
  18. Looks good Alan. IMHO, as well as your adjustable camber kit that you're getting, I'd do some more work with the offset. Looks like you can get the rears out in the arch more as well as the fronts. Will give a more aggressive stance.
  19. Depends on what you're using it for. If it's for polished alloy, I'd suggest doing as I do and first use Autosol which has quite a moderate cut, buff off and then use 'Brilliant' alloy and metal polish with an applicator pad and then buff off. It's a much finer cut and will reduce any swirls that you have have got through Autosol. It'll leave it with a much deeper shine too. If you're just using it on Stainless, then use Autosol on its own. I think you're using it on your exhaust tips aren't you? If they are really bad, then use some strong alloy wheel cleaner to agitate the nasty bits, scrub off, then polish with autosol.
  20. Why don't you save yourself a whole bunch of cash, keep the Z and buy something like this as a DD. Apparently the Smart car MPG isn't as great as it appears anyway. Get a good 306 HDi
  21. Exactly, if you don't know, then don't try and suggest stuff!! It certainly wasn't the first thing I thought of when I saw her collapse. If everytime you see someone collapse you think 'they might be faking it', then you got some issues.
