  1. You don't really need to replace it. It's just dumping straight to atmosphere. You may just notice fuel smell. Do as Legrath has stated, remove.
  2. I'd go with alcantara with your colour. I thought about grey alcantara with mine, but thought that I really wanted the leather. If I had a blue Z then without doubt I'd have alcantara.
  3. What has split? Carbon cannister? It's tucked up underneath the front wheel arch behind the splashgaurd. PRVR? No idea.
  4. Yeah, I can do that. I had lessons from Jimmer. It's quite easy to use if you don't get the comms issue.
  5. Wooohooo! It's coming to Bristol. We'll have to have a meet up mate. Would love to see it! F***in' bargain too! Really hope you keep it as it is. :)
  6. ....the 'filter box' you describe is probably the carbon canister. They are small black cylindrical things full of granules that absorb unwanted fuel vapor.
  7. It's EGR. ;) The EGR (Exhaust gas return) is a valve that routes unburnt exhaust gases back into the plenum to be reburnt. PCV valves release vent crankcase pressure back into the inlet. The two are very different.
  8. Arrrr, but it could have been! My mate's buying a Gallardo next year. Not quite a Murci, but closer than his 911 and 348 ever were! LOL :)
  9. ....a harlequin baby. I've just come to think of, what it reminds me of. Taken some time to click. I'd post photos up, but I think it would be a little un-pc and insensitive, it's a terrible affliction and birth defect. But every time I look at the back of the facelifted A4, it reminds me of a harlequin baby. Feel free to google if you're inquisitive, don't have a nervous disposition or don't know what one looks like (harlequin baby that is). MUCH preferred the previous version without it's Christmas tree front end and harlequin baby rear. Yes I know, I have a somewhat vivid imagination
  10. As above. Suprised they don't come with them. My Powertrix ones did, but then again, they cost 3 times as much. So, looks like a bargin there John!
  11. That's exactly how I feel. Take out and see the attention it generates. I do that when I go to France. It's like being a superstar, everyone stops and stares! Makes me proud to own it when it's like that.
  12. I bet it felt very strange driving the same car with manual after having it for so long with auto.
  13. Nice one Anthony and nice one Jimmer! Good luck with it.
  14. Well he did ask! ;) Just making a point that there's some really nice aftermarket and OEM stuff out there and there's also some really nasty stuff. Thanks too. :)
  15. Paint code TK3; it was called Sapphire Blue some years, and Blue Pearl others.
  16. Just steer clear of crap mods, ugly bodykits, huge spoilers, garish colours and aftermarket rear lights and you're sorted. What mods do YOU want to do though? Engine mechanical? Bodywork?
  17. Sorry yes. I was thinking of this one with the Kaminari sides. Kaminari manufacture the rear spoiler too iirc and there are 2 designs.
  18. If you go for it, make sure you go for the Kaminari rear bumper! The one on the grey car is a wings west and doesn't look as good!
  19. This is what I mean. This is Steve's car. Wondering if on later models, the check controls got fitted within the main dash clustors? You can see the blands where they would have been.
  20. Maybe not. Hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. Maybe the thing is designed for a 2+2.
  21. Here are some more pics..... Some pics on a 2+2
  22. I already told you it was a Kaminari in the second post!! DTA might be able to source otherwise it's order it in from Z1. Although they list the flushmount, they should be able to get you the other one.
