  1. What state's the earthing in?
  2. That's only if your car's had its original speedo converted. I'm still running on KMS. I'll get UK clocks one day. Certificate of de-registration in Japan should contain kms details iirc.
  3. Wheels off, arch liners off. You'll gain access that way.
  4. That's pretty good going. Just goes to show that given good maintenance, they are fine. Mine doesn't lead a hard life. I do use the boost and enjoy the car for what it was designed for, but only really in short blats and would like to up the boost a little. I take care with warmup proceedures and driving off boost for the last bit of my journey and I change the oil out every 3,000 miles. Saying that, I did hardly any mileage this year, so can't imagine the oil did anymore than 1500 miles.
  5. Well it's still there thank fook! :)
  6. It was a quick park. I'd just collected it and was nipping into the hotel to get my bags. Tis poor parking I know.
  7. There are a few guys in the US forum running in TT Z32s with 300k on the clock, some at 200k with original turbos. I've always said the 'replace turbos at 60k' thing is a myth. Those and b19rks car are good examples of that. Mine has done 109,000kms which is roughly 67,000miles. Still on original turbos which are still going very strong. Body has absolutely zero rust, it's garaged, doesn't get driven in the wet or on salty winter roads.
  8. No, I hadn't dreamt that someone had fitted a Veilside bodykit, LED washer-jets or caravan lights to it (which would have been worse!), but I woke up bolt-upright after dreaming that my Z had been stolen. Not from my place, but from my parents place. Ever so strange. I've not been down to the garage to see if it's still there. Anyone else had dreams about their Z being stolen? Disclaimer : Not sure of this should be in this forum or 'Z related'
  9. and the 'spatter' in undetermined areas!
  10. Similar methodology to myself! No sitting on the seat! blurgh! You have to change that methodology when encountering gut-rot though.
  11. Go for it. Tell us how many sheets of bog roll, whether you got spash back, how stinky it was and if it left skiddies,

I like them in stock-format. They do handle well, are quite quick. But the ones I've driven, it's never felt like blistering performance. There is Zero turbo lag, which is a good thing, but the boost is very progressive and you don't feel the same level of acceleration as you do in a Z. I wouldn't have one over a Z. They don't have the same road presence and they don't sound anywhere near as good. The interiors are also desperately bland.
  13. Erh? White rims? Think you have the contrast set too high on your monitor.
  14. Welcome. They all look good. :)
  15. Weather forecast is now shite.:(
  16. I've actually never stepped foot anyhere near a Prison or even a police cell. I've never had cause to be arrested and I don't know anyone who's been to prison. But I've always wanted to visit a prison and speak to inmates about their lives, what they've done and how they see their life progressing. I watched a film by Donal Macintyre last night where he went into Angola prison in Louisianna. Very interesting.
  17. They are? You learn something every day.
  18. Won't need spacers at the front and you won't really have any scope for fitting spacers with that spec. Fronts should be right out in the arches and will look pretty good. The rears however, 9.5" with ET20 won't fit at all. You'll need some big arch rolling modifications for that. With that width, you really have a max of +35. I'd double check the check offset of the rear as +20 on a 9.5 is pretty extreme.
  19. Ops, I buggered up the pricing! I payed £110ea for the fronts and about £135 for the rears.
  20. Excellent stuff. Least the car will be on the correct road orientation. I think half the fun of owning a yank-mobile would be its left-handedness. It wouldn't be something I'd ever be bothered about. I still sit and ponder about the whole Camaro idea. I do wish I'd gone for one over the Z at times. Something so nice about the Gen4, not sure what it was. It's bulging, but swooping rear arches, slitty headlights, V8 muscle. I dunno, but I'd still have one any day of the week.
  21. I actually like rabbits, one of the few caged domestic type animals that I think are pretty cool. Better than hamsters, chinchillas, rats and mice. Chinchillas are crap animals. The do absolutely feck all! Never seen a point to Chinchillas. They make for a pathetic pet and I've never even seen them on a menu anywhere.
  22. "F**kin' woo, f**kin waa!" LOL Seems to go very well! Engine sounds good. Like the bit where you film yourself speeding. Centre consol gauges look good.
  23. I've eaten one if that helps. Thought it a waste of time TBH. Would rather have a side of beef. It's all bones. PITA to eat.
