  1. When I was looking for a Gen 4 Camaro originally, I used to use AACINT. I really struggled to get one with T-Tops, V8 and manual trans. In hindsight, I'd have just gone over to one of the dry states and gotten the best one I could and shipped it over myself.
  2. I am a big yank-car lover Allan. Something different about them. 90s stuff and older is best. 60s is top of the list. They have such road presence. I think though, as much as I dislike SUVs, I'd have one of these in jiffy! GMC Typhoon/Syclone. Picikup version is called the Syclone and the SUV is the Typhoon 0-60 in under 5 seconds. It's a special 4.3 (I think) V6 with a turbo, autobox and 4x4. They made less than 5,000 in 92/93 ish
  3. I had a Dodge Durango V8 on hire for a few days in LA. This thing was absolutely humongous! As you can tell from here. I parked next to this little old Civic. Now I didn't choose to have an SUV, I actually handed it back very happily the next day for a Mazda 6. I don't like driving waterbeds. The Durango made for a miserable drive for the twisty highways of SoCal. I do like the look of US pickups like Allan's Ram. But I don't like the look of SUVs and I like driving them even less.
  4. No, like 'Get it, sit down, shut up hang on', 'lower than your grans nipples!!', Scooby Slayer or 'Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo 24valve Quad cam V6', ie the car's full specification lol, etc etc.
  5. Big, ugly, fat, orange and pointless!
  6. Pimpin' Hummer on chrome 24s yo!
  7. Yeah, this is and it's fookin' disgusting!
  8. Good God, you're worse than a woman looking for a pair of shoes! I don't like Chelsea tractors. For an SUV though, it's quite nice looking, but I hate driving the things. I'd rather be in a lorry cab.
  9. LOL! Cool. I don't drink much anymore, but I am sure I can be persuaded! LOL
  10. Standard double sided sticky pads from Halfords will do the job. Just make sure both surfaces are squeeky clean and free from grease. Also, make sure you line it up correctly as they won't come off! I've removed every single set of plates from all of my cars, fitted new plain borderless ones and stuck them on. Much cleaner and more slick looking. I've lost count of the amounts of tidy looking cars with absolutely hanging number plates, either filled up with dirt between the skins or have those tacky hollograms/slogans.
  11. Please tell me you're not going to take that stock black grille out and mesh it! :hurl:
  12. I have a Magnatax tax disk holder. Nice and descrete. I could think of nothing worse than to have obsenity stuck to my windscreen as much as it does piss me off knowing that a huge proportion of drivers in the UK have no tax or insurance. Swearing and vulgarity don't really bother me, I just couldn't have it written on the front of my car. UK tax disks are unsightly anyway, certainly don't want to draw more attention to it. It's a bit like having 'baby on board' or even worse 'babe on board' stickers! LOL Stickers on road-cars is a big turn-off anyway.
  13. They will fit, BUT your rear arches will need rolling a little and your front arch liners would need some adjustment. You can dial your camber in a bit to reduce the amount of work needed on the arch lips, but you'll get added tyre wear. I prefer staggered widths personally, but equal widths with same offsets can look good. This would be a similar look you'll get. These are 10" wide wheels with an ET of 28. Unfortunately, arch lips look somewhat messy.
  14. Would be better to sort this out in the summer. Is this the shooting range near me?
  15. You moved to Portbury yet?
  16. Somewhere where there are NO CHRISTMAS Decorations, no christmas food and no christmas music would be nice.
  17. Shame they aren't meeting at Gordano. I'd pop along if they were. Where exactly at Ashton Court do they meet anyway?
  18. 348 and 355 are pretty much evenly matched for handling performance. They use simlar V8 engines. 355 comes with 5 valves per cylinder as opposed to the conventional setup in the 348. 355 has a slightly larger displacement and more power. 355 has more toys, like power steering and ABS, 348 is a very raw car. My friend used to have one and it would kill a Z in the twisties. Absolutely incredible handling. It was better than his Porsche 996 911. 348 would be one of the cars I'd choose as a replacement for my Z along with an NSX. But I've put buying either of those on the back-burner for now. The fake MR2 Ferrari kits are so cheesey. Whilst from head-on, they are mildly convincing, you get more than about 50 metres for one and they look terrible. Proportions are all off and engine note...well, it's quite obvious then that it's not a Ferrari. Those cost in fitting those kits is absolutely ridiculous though. You see them on ebay all fitted up with price tags of £18k!! £18!?!?!!!?!?
  19. Joyeux anniversaire mon ami, Leight!!
  20. Yeah, that certainly isn't a 99-spoiler. I don't infact have any photos of a wide arch with one. I like the exhaust on that car though.
  21. You've got more chance of it rubbing on the insides of the liners with that width and offset on the front. Fronts require different offsets to the rears to balance the look out and fit correctly.
  22. Lovely car. But prefered it with the old bumper and stock rear lights. Round rear lights don't suit at all. Wheels look very good.
  23. Good job you wouldn't keep them white. Rarely seen white wheels that suit a Z. Infact I can only think of Zs with white wheels that have looked good and they were solid white anyway. Very nice wheel apart from being white. You will have to roll the arches for that rear. I am on the max with ET35. On a 9.5" whide wheel. You might get away with fitting stretched tyres, but I'm not a fan of the stretched look. You're very borderline. Trial fit one and see how it looks. What's the spec of the fronts? Here's my rear. 9.5" ET35 with 275 35 18 Mine are dead-level with the arches. As I said, if you were to fit 265s, you may get away with it, but your wheels/tyres will be sticking outside of the arch with ET30 on a 9.5"
