  1. I know yours is Toyota Pearl....so it 'may' be the same. I have seen some of the Toyota pearl whites....depends on how much pearl coat is added as to how the overall effect is. Maybe yours never had enough pearl coat?
  2. Oooh. So you finally took it to them! Nice one! Look forward to seeing it as they did a flawless job on your 911! I'd say go for either the new Lexus pearl white or the pearl white that the new 370Z comes in. Unfortunately, unless in direct sunlight, you're not going to notice the pearl as much, but the lexus one is more noticeable. If you want it a little more noticeable then you need to add a blue flip to the paint or something. But just go subtle as it can look incredibly garish otherwise as a lot of flip paints generally tend to. The most amazing pearl white I've ever seen. Pics don't do it justice. It's a colour I'll do my car if I respray again and don't go for a Nissan colour. Seen some in California last year and in the sunlight, the colour just blew me away. Was an incredible cool glow to it.
  3. What component are you talking about? I take it you mean the inlet?? Is it polished (casting marks removed) or natural?
  4. Yup, as above, most things have been covered many times. Also, what's a 'vigin'? Something from Star Trek!? hehe Welcome to the club. :) :duffer:
  5. Time for a pic-whoring then! :)
  6. Missed this too! Even Facebook reminded me! Happy belated birthday Mark!! :duffer:
  7. Good stuff! Did you get your rear lights sorted!?
  8. Sounds good. Beauty of the OE type bumpers is they match the rest of the car (unlike most aftermarket ones) and fit correctly...and aren't made of GRP! Best way is to stick along those routes and/or bumper extensions. :)
  9. That's a lot of overspray on the engine under tray! Glad you're going for the stock/smooth nose panel. Nothing else works as well styling wise IMO. :)
  10. I believe this was Z32dave's old car....who since sold it...but who to?
  11. Saw you pull out of Asda. Car looked really nice (apart from the wiper blades). :) Edit....not Don Gilham
  12. Personally think that because you have the moustache (black/grey strip) you should get the smoked corner indicators (either the UK blanks and fit a hole, or the Nismo smoked ones), get some new fog light lenses, black out the bases of those and spray tint the reflector from your current fog light backings. :)
  13. I didn't actually as I forgot it had one! Remember now! LOL. 99-spec rears smarten up and modernise the rear nicely. Yup, plain plates are much more easy on the eye. Rear especially if you can get it all on one line. :)
  14. Both ain't that nice IMO. R33 GT-R wheels look MUCH nicer. ---> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=63
  15. Understand. Shame it had to be deleted though.
  16. Now THIS is what the club needs! Nice one Jeff, can't say for sure, but certainly interested....which is pretty impressive since I detest Christmas! LOL :D
  17. Very tidy mate and original. Just when they look their best.
  18. Dished aftermarket wheels, pretty stock looking. Looked good! Think it was a K reg.
  19. Your guess is as good as mine....
  20. Yeah, it's gone, just tried to find it and it's vanished.
  21. Yup, Mr. Bean ruined the engine for him and corrosion ruined the body. Jeff posted up a thread with lots of photos of the underside which was in seriously poor state of decay, but for some reason, that thread has been removed. On the basis of this, Craig has now decided to cut his losses. :(
  22. Yeah, worth a shot I guess. :)
