  1. I totally agree with you Gio. A lot of cars tend to get over valued though (however, I don't look at those cars as part of what I would consider as 'good market' cars) - there are just more bad ones than good ones. Included in that are fibreglassed multi-coloured wonders that sit on ebay for years. GOOD ones sell and they sell reasonably fast and prices are good. The car has not been imported in any real numbers since the mid 2000s, a lot of UK cars have turned to the ferrous ore from whence they came and following in their footsteps are an increasing number of JDM examples. So many are being broken for spares, there are still a lot of tatty ones about, but those seem to be dwindling fast. Ownership has fallen as they continue to get scrapped. The 'good ones' tend to be held on to as those that know them, know what they are! I am not convinced that Z32 pricing is appreciating (yet), I think that they've stabilised to a point where working examples won't go much lower in value. I think we're still a few years off of them appreciating to anything of notable worth, but I think they will start to.
  2. Here's a near side. Can't find a 'pair'. I am sure someone has a set though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300-ZX-Front-indicator-fog-P-S-Tinted-Blank-/200989462446?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item2ecbe7cfae Set of used examples of the ones Andrew posted.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-FRONT-INDICATORS-/190974524283?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c76f7fb7b
  3. The clear ones you can buy from Zcentre. The smoked ones you can get from Z1, they actually drill them out and market them as Nismo indicators. But you can get a set of UK blanks from Jeff's I think. Not sure if he has any spare. I took my last set to the US back in June.
  4. Lenses, I believe are both the same once separated, it's purely the backing that gives the appearance of them being tinted. But yes, there are points on which to add bulb holders. The moulding is the same, except there are just no holes, but the footprint is there. All you need to do is to measure and dremmel!
  5. These are by far and away the nicest for JDM vehicles. - - - Updated - - - Get UK blanks then.
  6. Very good! I can tell the difference though, quite easily, but they are infinitely better than just replacing the lower sections.
  7. ....to be fair, US cars have the same, but they have those indicators with the horrible orange sections. Clear (OEM) or UK indicators looks good.
  8. ....they're easy enough to drill. I've converted a few sets for people in the US using UK blanks. They have DLRs in the indicators.
  9. Side light's what? lol ;) I take it you're ditching the front fogs and relocating the side lights to the indicators? What indicators have you got? Version 1, 2 or 99? Can't remember what front end you have.
  10. Absolutely nothing wrong with the S3 spoiler. Works best on shorties.
  11. That does look good. Never seen one with staggered wheels before. Always thought wider rears screwed up the AWD system.
  12. I hate the Metro, but LOVE the 6R4. That thing looks ace Pete. They sound amazing and look crazy - in a good way. I used to have 'Rally International' Scalextrix when I was a kid which included an Audi Quattro and a Metro 6R4. I wish I still had it, those 2 cars, as in real life, are highly collectable.
  13. There are a monumental amount of dogs a out as has been suggested and some dreadfully modified ones; bide your time. £5k should buy you a really nice one. I'd happily pay £5k all day long for the right one. Probably more if I'm honest. I can't seem to look at the advert as I can't view it on my tablet, but have a look at the red UK car, 2nd from the bottom... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/nissan/300_zx/postcode/bs207ns/radius/1501/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/sort/atcustom
  14. Here are some piccies of the transporter the Nebraska Z Club took to Branson Z Fest. Cars appear in different positions as they were loaded differently from going down to returning. I've driven the blue Z on the top level. It is totally mental. Running over 600hp. The grey Z at the back, which is also owned by a friend of mine (not my thing styling), but it is +750hp. Just INSANE! I haven't driven it, but I have been in it. The fastest thing I've ever been in and the most crazy.
  15. Here's a few more of the garage....
  16. Disagree with that too. The Z has much nicer flowing lines, far more easy on the eye, far more pert. In person, the Z32 also has more road presence. Indeed, opinions, but I think the GTO was the least attractive of the big four. I still like them, but they can't beat the Z32 at all. The Z32 has some of the neatest lines of any production sports car.
  17. Don't be sorry, it's a much loved photo in the Z scene and gets posted on loads of forums. Always good to see it! :pint:
  18. Reposted reposted repost.:) Wrong info Mark. The silver Z on the right is my friend Tim's from Ohio and they took this photo about 5 years ago. I have a bunch more on my laptop. Will upload them later. They got more on the driveway too. Another owner had a tech day at that house which was why there was a gathering. A few years ago when I was out in the Midwest for Branson Z Fest, one of the guys from Nebraska managed to get hold of a double decker transporter and they managed to haul 10 Z cars down on the 600 mile journey from NE to MO. Was pretty cool as they had a banner on the side with their Z Club chapter on the transporter "Z Cars of Nebraska". Got that on my laptop too. Will post some pics up later.
  19. Poor stance though and that's probably all you can really do with it. Looks ok, they just sit really strangely, can't quite put my finger on it. I also think all those dummy vents aren't really appealing. GTO is 'nearly' there, but always looks awkward. I kinda like 'em though, but I don't get an aroused when I see one. lol
  20. You've picked a bad example there. A set of wheels would sort that out. The Z32 wheels on JDM cars look like that at the rear. Inset and unflattering. GTOs, you can't even have staggered wheels because of the 4WD system. They sit really oddly and there's little you can do to the car to give it a pleasing stance. Easily sorted with the NSX, Z32 and Supra.
