Europe car screwed me over too a few years ago. Had a 208 rental car in Sardinia. Got the liability waiver thing for extra money. Had someone force me off the road and hit a small boulder which put a little dent in the sill.....ends up that there was some sort of get-out clause (I forget which) and the entire £500 deposit was with held. If you're booking a car, do it through an agent. I've rented on a number of different continents and have always used carhire3000 who are great and explain fully what your costs are and what you're covered for, in addition, they can supply extra and sometimes often cheaper, coverage that's more beneficial to the minefield of bolt-ons and nonsense you get a the check-out desk of the rental company.

Long shot, after a project. Can anyone help :-)
Few more ideas : Jeep Cherokee Jeep Grand Cherokee Range Rover V8 - some older versions around for this price. Isuzu Trooper Ford Galaxy - as dull as George Brown - but you can find 10 year old ones for about this Vauxhall Zafira - PLENTY about at the £500 mark. Equally as dull as the Galaxy (GSi and TD versions cost substantially more and are half decent), but they have a 'flex-7' seating system which is quite handy.

Aced the MOT woop woop
I can't! I have no audio at the moment. I want to get that completely installed. I will be taking it out at the weekend to move it about and drive it up and down the privet road. It will have a wash and a thorough check over. It's been in hibernation since October. Everything needs to be checked.

Kinda tempted to get mine out and taxed. But the door cards and various other parts of the interior need refitting before I can do that. I can't drive round in an unfinished vehicle.

I must say, I don't like having other people rummaging around under and inside my car. Glad it passed mate! Enjoy the summer - feels like it's on its way today!

Pretty sure these are 7 seater. Cheaper to run than the Ford. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/98-R-Vauxhall-Frontera-2-5TDS-LWB-/380831382776?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item58ab51bcf8

Thoughts on this FMIC?
Where's this 500bhp number come from then!? A bigger intercooler is better for all concerned whether you're running over a certain HP or not. If you're going big numbers, SMICs are also the way to go. No huge bumpers and SMICs on SpecialityZs 8 second Z32 TT. Jaffa's 650hp track weapon or most of the other high HP Z32s you'll see around the world. The majority of the notable big hp Z32s across the globe will run SMICs - usually Ashspec Massivs or similar. I do get what you're trying to put across, but neither are needed - having an FMIC is purely an 'appearance' thing. Mechanically, there's no advantage and IMO, why stick something in front of the rad.
