  1. As morbid as it sounds, have we had any club members kill themselves in their Zs?
  2. Southsea in Hampshire. Lived there shortly after my university days.
  3. Woke up to this this morning. Perfect start to the day! I miss living here.
  4. ....and try calling him again!
  5. I've done plenty of things in my life that would surprise many! :)
  6. Bobbing about on the Solent. Sailed round the world on one of these things (not the ferry I am on now)!
  7. http://www.mjpauto.com
  8. Ha! The only cloth seats in black were the non-leather 96+ seats, but they were a black tweed rather than velour. The even later models had Recaro seats with black bolsters and patterned centres. Strangely though, the rear benches were never trimmed to match.
  9. Did anyone else click on this expecting to see a couple of scantily clad chicks greasing each other's nipples? :wack:
  10. No, but the point I am trying to make is that there are good rust free cars out there. They're old cars and should be treated as such. A lot of people run these cars on a shoestring and it can show. The fact is, I garage and keep it clean and shipshape. But you don't need to throw thousands in doing that. I can't comment on this car and won't as I don't know the car or its history. :)
  11. My car has no rust what so ever. :)
  12. Deep sea tugs are pretty big Gary. Similar size to the support vessels. Google Smit-Tak tug...will give you an idea. :) Hub ports use large tugs also especially for ULCC and VLCC vessels.
  13. Support vessel of sorts?
  14. I hate baths. Haven't got the time or even the inclination to wallow in my own filth. Will always prompt for a shower.....as long as it doesn't have a 'fixed' shower head! Fixed shower heads make me sad, I am at my happiest when I have a clean ass. :) Easier to hump your lady in the shower.....unless you have a large jacuzzi bath.
  15. I've done a few experiments and that is the case at slower speeds, but higher cruising speeds, it's awful and if you pull down the deflector at motorway speeds, it's as the OP described.
  16. They make a huge difference IMO. When I had my car back from the paint shop, I drove round without them for a few weeks as I'd missplaced them. 70 made that horrible buffeting you get on older sunroof equipped cars. I did find the,.and refitted them and glad that I did. I did a 7hr non-stop drive to Toulouse after that at 80+ with the t-tops off and no buffeting. Nissan removed for cost cutting, but I feel these are essential parts. Refitting would be difficult as you'd not only have to drill, but you'd also need to weld in some captive nuts.
  17. Thanks dude. I prefer the older type Momo wheels. They're not as fussy in design and more in-keeping. :)
  18. Oh I agree - not suggesting otherwise. But I'd be on the pooper after that lot! :) Sweet chilli beef you say!? Mmmmm! yum!
  19. On the couch now, but on the shitter later! lol
  20. Yeah. Likelihood is, you have no CC. Those wires will have been pulled from the slip-ring. You might need to either fit a new slip ring, or re-attach the wires if you have enough of them to do so.
  21. I've re-read everything. It appears you have no cruise control components at all. I wouldn't attempt to install it. It'll involve taking apart the loom as it's hard-wired into it.
