clear wing repeater indicators.
Why!?!?!?!? US Z32s don't even come with wing indicators, there's no market for them over there at all. They're all the same anyway, there certainly aren't more than one factory making these. They're not volume enough.

http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_140.htm Not required. We have wrap around lenses.....plus as long as an amber light can be seen, it's acceptable.

clear wing repeater indicators.
They're ALL the same!!!!!!!!! They certainly won't fail an MOT for them. I've never ever known of one failing because the indicator lenses are clear and not orange. None of the Japanese Z32s have e-markings on them either I don't think, I have no idea on UK cars. I've never noticed them.

They all need to be modified as they have different connectors and bulb holders. Easy job to do.

Tapping sound from camshaft pulleys - urgent help needed 91 N/A
Speak to MJP (http://www.mjpauto.co.uk) Should be able to get the waterpump for that too. There's also another tensioner also, from memory that could do with being replaced. If you get anywhere else, just makes sure it's the Gates belt....genuine OEM waterpump too, not aftermarket.

Cruise control module variants...
Auto and manual are, I believe the same. I have UK auto CC module in my TT (for speed limiter reasons). The circuitry is the same, there's just an unused input on an auto (clutch switch). Plugs and pin-outs are the same, it's only on the loom that there's one less wire. I don't know anything further on the series 2 model.

I am sure some moron will get one tattooed on his arse!

Why would anyone do this to a Z?
With his taste in front bumpers, dullard voice, I am not surprised.

Kings Cross, white zed, lambo rears, R reg
Sorry dude, didn't mean to come across as pedantic. The reason I said that is that unfortunately there are a number of these styles on the market. The one Steve and I think you saw would have had Ferrari rear lights.... Then there's what's known as 'Lambo' rear lights ....to make things worse, there are 2 versions of those too!! ....kinda reminds of ..... Then there's the 'afterburner' rear lights. :hurl: ...this list goes on!

my rear sub refurb with pics
Looks loads better! Nice work! Non taken on the orange though, would have powdercoated those parts black. Love freshly powdercoated suspension and subframe components though! Good work. :)

Correct. Didn't have 'lambo' lights on it though. They were round, god knows what you'd call them though - Ferrari ones maybe. 96 car, so could be the same one.

picked up my new Z!! :-D
Photos? Who did the engine rebuild and what consisted of the 'full' rebuild? New turbos? New end bearings? What was actually done? What other history or receipts does it come with for recent maintenance? I'd change the oil for starters as a first-measure. If the engine was built well, then oil is all it'll need. I average about 2,000-3,000 per year and change my oil after winter layup. Congrats though, TT feels completely different to NA power.

Can any of you flock?
- Can any of you flock?
Took my glovebox apart and currently have the inside bin being flocked. I had considered a light grey to match the dash areas, but plumped for black to make it look a little less obvious and susceptible to marking. I'll get some pics up when I get it back. The quality of the samples I saw was first-rate! Should look something like this!- Zed Needed
'Sky high'? You can get a very clean TT for between £3.5k and £5k. IMO, that's peanuts. I think you were just lucky as generally, £1500 Z32s are something I'd steer clear of. But then again, I'd only be looking at TT manuals. You should be able to get reasonable NA auto for £1500 though. There was a chap selling a tatty TT manual on here for £1000 for a quick sale. Not something I'd go for, but it might be ok as a base long-term project.- So where are you now?
Nothing special, just fancied a little city break in Amsterdam.- So where are you now?
