  1. Just checked - TPS voltage needs to around 0.45v closed throttle. If it doesn't adjust, it's likely to be faulty or one of the wires/contacts are bad.
  2. Welcome to the forum Stuart! First things first, remove the BOVs. They're pointless and do absolutely nothing for the car's performance and can cause rough idling. I don't think this is your problem though. Try thoroughly cleaning ALL the contacts (focus on the MAF, coilpack, injector and PTU connectors). Check the hoses for any splits, then, if you have ConZult, check the TPS setting. You can check this with a voltmeter (I forget the voltage) and adjust. Also clean the connector up to that. When these are not set correctly, they can cause rough idling and cause the car to cut out.
  3. Hope you get your light sealant/tar! :)
  4. Welcome Natalie! 99 spec rear lights and a smooth nose panel and that car will look really sweet. :)
  5. I know this, you know what I mean. :p
  6. Looks like you'll be keeping it on your caravan then huh Pete. :p
  7. I wonder if they are made by a certain Canadian manufacturer.
  8. I think you'll find that 'xmas' is actually 8 months away!
  9. I like the idea of having aero wipers, but the trouble is with them is that giant knuckle; it's the size of Newport Pagnell. Good price though. I still keep meaning to fit Lexus IS200 wiper blades to mine. Aero style, but slimline and contoured.
  10. Still seems like a complete waste of time and effort. Oh well. :)
  11. Absolutely! I felt it was completely and utterly ridiculous. As I've said, sure, it's a worthy story, but to put it where it was was just unbelievable. It had me swearing at the TV in disbelief!
  12. Happy booZums Garrold! :)
  13. A terrible excuse for wanting to be 'different'. 'Standing out' (like a sore thumb) or being 'Different' is not always a good thing. Jocelyn Wildenstein's face is a prime example of that!
  14. As I've said, it was a newsworthy article, but no way should it have been 'top story' with everything else that was going on in the world.
  15. ....actually, I just checked, I got mine from http://www.autostyle.co.uk
  16. Pretty sure these are the ones I have! Very well made and looks like they'd take a herd of wildebeest running over them to damage them. Mine are black with dark grey edges to match the seat bolsters. They were about £60 from memory (8 years ago). They still look good now. Bit dusty here I'm afraid, but you get the idea.
  17. Sounds like you're going to go through a lot of hassle for absolutely no gain and de-specification....
  18. Not if you've got a truncheon - you don't need 'em....and that's where these fall short. Anything but standard wheels and they look like they are from a car half its size.
  19. Condoms can be bought ribbed. Makes them uglier than non-ribbed.
  20. By idea suited! Glad the badge got to you all ok. Sorry it took ages!
  21. This! You really want to avoid drawing your eye to stock calipers.... :) I'd always go a silver/met grey or black. Any other colour is a bit of an eye-sore IMO. At least he's not suggesting something lurid like yellow or red.
  22. I only watch it for the titties. :)
  23.  bwhahahahah hah   :)
