Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panels
- Japfest 2014......
It was still pretty wet from what I heard dude. Heavy rain in the morning and showers throughout the day and rain in the evening.- Wheels
Staggered fitment : ALL Euro-spec cars, incl UK models (all being 2+2 Twin Turbo), US / Canadian spec turbo models (2+0 availability only for TT models) Equal fitment : Everything else. Everything else being ALL JDM Z32s, ALL US-spec 2+2 (only available as NA), slicktop (only available as NA), convertible (only available as NA) and 2+0 NA models, ALL Australian/NZ-spec cars (those being 2+2 NA only on that market).- Wheels
My preference would always be to shoot for staggered fitment if you can. It gives the Z increased presence IMO.- Japfest 2014......
Brown rain dude?- Cruise control
Pedal switch. But the others have cover that too.- Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panels
I just don't care for the look of carbon fibre and I think the Z32 is a bit too old for it. But that's just me; it's a bit like putting a pair of Oakleys on the Mona Lisa. Looks out of place. Glad you painted the tow eyes! Makes a nice difference and smartens up the back end really well!- Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panels
This!! ^^- I've learned something new about the road tax changes.....
If it's all done on line now, yeah it does. It would take 5 minutes to do before you collect the car. I guess it removes those 'I just bought the car and i haven't insured it yet' tossers. You can't tax it unless it's insured, so it totally makes sense! - - - Updated - - - Insure you mean!- Cruise control
You definitely sure that it has it? The switch could be faulty or a blown fuse.- Since it's been 25 years since the inception of the Z32, I've compiled some....
Yeah, a great thread that was!- Question
I have yet to see an R390 in the flesh. Maybe, when I eventually get to go to the Nissan Heritage Musuem in Japan, I will, but for now, it remains one of those 'never seen exotics' that I love.- Question
Peasy! Nissan R390 and the Lamborghini Diablo (phase 2 version only).- Since it's been 25 years since the inception of the Z32, I've compiled some....
I still prefer the Senny. Always preferred the styling. Never been a fan of Rover. :)- Since it's been 25 years since the inception of the Z32, I've compiled some....
I'd rather have had the Senator! :)- Since it's been 25 years since the inception of the Z32, I've compiled some....
...interesting and notable things from the same year; some fun, some cool and some horrible: In 1989 Motorola had just launched their new 'MicroTACH'. An analogue phone priced at around £2,000 each! In 1989, Nintendo also launched their new 'Game Boy'. Nearly 200 people were killed in a horrific plane crash that was captured on video in Sioux City, Iowa when a DC-10 attempted to make an emergency landing after all its flight controls failed. Any seasoned travelers will remember the aged DC-10. I in fact went through a harrowing experience over the Great Lakes in the northern United States when the DC-10 I was flying in caught fire. Sky TV - spearheaded by Rupert Murdock started broadcasting for the first time in 1989 Nearly 100 people die in the Hillsborough disaster. Nearly 100 people die in the Marchioness disaster - pleasure boat that sank in the River Thames after a barge ploughed into it. The 'Cold War' with the Russians officially ends.....although some say, it's back again! Note Hungary in the 'Warsaw pact'. As a family, we drove all the way to Hungary in 1990 as I have family in Budapest and the surrounding areas and we were required to carry visas and report to the police station every time we moved around the country; nobody had phones in their homes, only coin-op public phones in the street, people would queue to use it and queue for half an hour for a loaf of bread. ...and by that same fate in '89 the Berlin Wall would start to come down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogsY1JGYCmM The Tiananmen Square protests and subsequent masacre were in the news for months in '89 George Bush senior (the first one) becomes president of the United States. Daniel Radcliffe was born! In 1989, the top ranking film was Indianna Jones and the Last Crusade! ...also released was Back to the Future Part II Black Box and 'Ride on Time' was released and spent 6 weeks at No.1 [video=youtube;cP4PsscG7-I]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP4PsscG7-I Last but not least and something if we didn't have, we wouldn't be on here all talking about, the world wide web was invented in 1989!- Belt help?
If you can, pop off the cam covers and have a look at the cam belt, just for piece of mind. It 'could' be from an old repair job and it's just been sat there for a while. I would imagine that if it were your current cam belt, it probably would already have blown itself to pieces, but have a good check.- Japfest / Badminton Horse trials
Bring cagoules as wind is supposed to be strong. Brollys are going to blow inside out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2654675#video-0- Japfest / Badminton Horse trials
Arrive there early, you'll get there in what's been predicted as torrential rain. Badminton horse trials could get cancelled. Rain is forecast for most of the day, I don't envy any of you!- What did you do to your zed today?
In your butt?- First Z
Because the wheel is rare. Generally import 94+ Z32s were fitted with airbags. I am not sure if they were a delete-option or not. The wheel you have in yours is one of these wheels. Airbag wheels look like this.... Before airbag wheels, Nissan fitted either of these two depending on whether you had cruise control or not.- First Z
The strip that sits above the tailgate. They fade from black to a maroon colour. Should look like this:- Colour code required!
That's diamond black pearl (a metallic colour). Mondo is after solid blacks only.- First Z
Very nice! Even has the seldom-seen non-airbag wheel from the 94 models. Looks relatively unmolested too....how they look their best. You can buy new tailgate strips BTW. - Japfest 2014......
