- Going to ZCon next year!
Yup, sure is! It's not theirs, but they have some customer cars on display also.- Going to ZCon next year!
Change of plan! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this. This October however sees a return trip to the guys at Z1 Motorsports for their yearly ZNationals bash. I've been to this before and it's awesome! Looking forward to heading back there. I spent some time with the guys in June last year and always, had a blast. For those that don't know anything about it, Z1 Motorsports in the US hold their yearly Nationals event which includes track day action at Barber Motorsport Park, dyno sessions, car shows and parties. It's really good fun and a very well put together and well oiled machine! I hope to be doing a bit of announcing this year too.- Long Night
Oh dear. :( Please send him my regards and best wishes. Glad he's home now!- £1500!
Hope it scraps it and sends that lambo door kit with it!- So where are you now?
I am off to Cars & Coffee tomorrow in Orange County. Usually some seriously expensive metal. Couple of Veyrons usually attend. Will get some photos on the go.- So where are you now?
Trikes with trailers! :) Honda Goldwing based from memory.- So where are you now?
Bit out of order there mate as the 350 drivers are friends of mine and are the nicest folk you'll ever meet. Salt of the earth type stuff. :) Ashlee who owns the Z32 is a model.- So where are you now?
At Branson Z Fest in Missouri. Don't have any photos of the event on my phone, but a small number of us went out on a little Ozark cruise yesterday. The silver Z32 I have out here is second from the right and also in front in the second photo outside Lambert's restaurant.- fibreglass fenders... any point or just show?
Tubs and vented wings don't lend themselves to a good look IMO.- So where are you now?

Narrr, I'm hardcore. Roof down, AC on and plenty of water. Not too hot in Phoenix at the moment, only 36. Should be way over 40 next week.- So where are you now?
Thanks Gary! Went here today! Got a brand new Mustang convertible. I am going to die in it tomorrow. I am now in the middle of Mohave Desert. It's going to be very hot tomorrow.- So where are you now?
Currently sat in seat 42A on this brand new A380. Just waiting to take off for Los Angeles. PS, the IFE rocks! Better than Qatar and Virgin. Well done BA on replacing your aged creaky old 747s!- wastegate noise
That was my fault. Not sure why I said wastegate in the latter part of my post. Will edit.- wastegate noise
I would steer clear of dump-valves personally. They are a waste of time and money. They do absolutely ZERO for performance and screw up the metering of air. Some might not notice it, but it does happen. To me, they are completely nonsensical and only sound like the air-brakes from an articulated lorry. Hard pipes will not really pronounce the wastegate chatter. Fitting a cone filter will have more of an effect than anything else. When I fitted my A'pexi, I could really notice a difference. The noise from the wastegate on standard intakes is muffled, whereas in a cone filter, the noise can project outward as it's not sat in a plastic box with a restrictive filter in front of it. If you have honking, then the diaphragm inside the recirc valve is leaking and giving you a croaky quack sound when you come off the throttle. You can either fit another set of known good recircs, get the BDE goose honk killer kit for your existing ones or get yourself some aftermarket recirculating valves. Forge and Bailey both do aftermarket recircs IIRC- New Daily Driver!
Is it a Corolla Verso?- Anyone's on here?
It's VERY far from standard - but good that it still resembles a 300zx huh! It's had a complete suspension overhaul, custom leather interior, Jimmer rebuilt engine, new wheels (a number of times), paint job (2 of them) which included various subtle modifications, new glass, rear lights, expensive audio upgrade then there's the money on replacing various bits of trim, fittings, clips, so on and so forth. Pretty much EVERYTHING has either been replaced, upgraded or reconditioned.- Anyone's on here?
"1 of 28 of the same spec"? 'Visually', I do not think it is a realistic price tag. It doesn't look pristene with what he's done to the body. I would love to say that hi-spec Z32s are worth that, but they're not. 500bhp+ Z32s in mint condition could fetch £7k I'd imagine (I'd still pay £5k for an immaculate stock/mildly modified TT manual). Now, if the car actually looked like it was immaculate, I mean, really immaculate, then I'd suggest yes. For example, I think MadMax's 300zx went for around the £12k-ish mark. This had a £30k Kyle Puckett engine in it from the states, and a further £20k-£30k worth of parts and paint. Tasteless styling modifications aside, realistically it isn't going to be worth that, even if it does pump out over 500bhp (proven). I've spent well over £20k on mine (not including the cost of the car) which isn't much when you consider what Jaffa and Maxmax have spent for example. I wouldn't advertise it at that. I have no idea what mine is worth....which is good as I have no intentions of selling it.- Impul kit
Lots of fine layers remember. Doesn't matter if it doesn't give an ultimate gloss straight out of the gun, as long as coverage is even with no runs or dry spots, you can cut back with wet and dry after before final polishing.- Impul kit
Hell no! NEVER ever do that. You need to lacquer straight on to metallic base coat. You'll totally screw up the 'lay' of the metallic particles, you'll get dark spots and all sorts. Not something I would do. It's the lacquer you cut back. I'd degrease that and then lacquer straight on top, however, I would have allowed the paint to partically dry and then hit it with 2-3 layers of lacquer rather than left it. Good job I told you!- Impul kit
Did I read that correctly....? You haven't lacquered it yet? You can't cut-back metallic base coat....- Impul kit
Wow! That was quick! Get polishing! :) - Rear seat belts in JDM models.
