  1. His ass more like! ;)
  2. Coming from the guy with 2million watts of in car entertainment? :wack: ;) You won't pay PayPal fees if you send the money as a gift.
  3. I thought cheques had gone extinct!
  4. PTFE tape won't melt! Every central heating system in the UK is sealed with the stuff!
  5. They are genuine, however that car has been on as a breaker on eBay for about a month now, I suspect they're already on another vehicle by now.
  6. They're the best thing you can do to the back end of any Z32 IMO.
  7. As above. You need a compression washer. Unless you have a brand new or perfect sump, you won't get the seal. I personally would just with the OEM sump plug. You should have gotten a copper compression washer with the oil filter?
  8. Incandescent bulbs diffuse the light more evenly. LEDs are very focused, unless you're going for a full array, I would always steer clear of LED replacement bulbs.
  9. You should be able to do that in a day! Unless of course you're doing the dash....
  10. That Z looks like it was dragged out of the Mariana Trench!
  11. Rust is the biggest killer of Z32s in the UK. Even Japanese imports are starting to rot badly, those that have been over here for some time. It's a real shame as the bodies are quite complex and repair is often time consuming and expensive. I'd certainly use mine more if we had better winters, but with the amount of salt and grit that gets sprayed over the roads between late November to late March, I'd rather keep it off the road. In the summer it gets used quite a bit.
  12. When mine gets used, it gets used on long jaunts and I never have any problems after laying it up over the winter. Storing it in a bone dry garage and NOT starting it every month during layup for no reason is probably why.
  13. Yes I did. ....and that's why you're having to have loads of bodywork done because of rust. ;)
  14. Sounds great! NA motors are very sensitive to exhaust note I find. The Veilside as you've mentioned in another thread sounds incredible on the TT, I've heard from a few others that on the NA it's not ideally suited. That's common with a number of exhausts I find, they work best on the TT as the NA is a lot more raspy and higher pitched. Your NA does sound really nice.
  15. I love this car - always have since I first saw photos of it. Really nicely done.
  16. Brake light/tail light bulbs are 380 or 382. I forget which is which. Indicators are like a 581. I can't remember whether the Z has offset pins or not. I think they're offset.
  17. Are yours LED bulbs? TBH, unless you're doing a full LED conversion on them, I'd just use conventional bulbs. The light dispersal is far more favourable and you won't have to mess about with fitting resistors.
  18. Have you got a bulb out?
  19. The perspex strip can be bought brand new from MJP. Think they're about £80 from memory (with brakelight) As new, they are black, but fade over time. I think phutumusch is doing the decals now, but they're chrome rather than the satin silver OEM ones. Whatever floats ya boat with those I guess and the wiper, the standard parked position is vertical. My rear wiper has now gone however, the photo I posted is about 7 years old.
  20. Mine isn't so much of a restoration as it has never needed restoring. Pretty much EVERYTHING has been changed/refined. New paint, mildly modified bodywork, glass-swap, rebuilt engine, new wheels, complete suspension overhaul, custom leather interior, upgraded audio.....but it has been refined over 10 years from this (taken outside the importer's house) .... To this....
  21. Actually that is UK sized. It's UK-square. You ideally want one cut to your spec. I got mine from http://www.fancyplates.com, very good quality.
  22. Fit round rear lights and stupid razor blade rear spoiler.
  23. Coming along nicely! You going to replace those wheels?
