know this 300??
As with what Lexx said, also check the dash (pre 95 model year cars) as they'll have a boost gauge under the rev counter, externally the only difference on JDM models is the front bumper as all JDM NAs also had a rear spoiler. UK models were ALL Twin Turbo and 2+2.

spraying pearl
From the factory, Nissan only applied pearl coat to the external visable surfaces, so shut lines, under bonnet and all internal surfaces only had base coat (they didn't even have clear coat). TBH, I never liked that. If you're having it painted, just get the lot done. OEM pearl however does have a very low concentration of 'pearl' in the midcoat, so it's not as noticeable without. Newer pearl midcoats have a much higher pearl weight in the midcoat and as such, change the appearance of the base coat more than the lower weight original paint.

PowerZed forged engine rebuild
Most metal HGs can be used again. Stock HGs can take quite a beating - plenty in the US running 400-500hp. Howard's will be running 600hp plus.

Top window roller cap
The caps are the same caps as the ones on the bottom rollers iirc.

Top window roller cap
Are you talking about the window roller that slides into the door pillar? If 'yes', then yup, that part is NLA I believe, certainly over here, however they are available from US stock.

PowerZed forged engine rebuild
They do do it. Whilst it's not listed, they can get it pretty easily. Tomei was a Platinum sponsor of ZNationals (I sat on the same VIP table as the president of Tomei) - both Z1 and Tomei have a great relationship. Speak to Jon or Chuck and they'll be able to get it. - - - Updated - - - ;)

He works at Cornelius Electronics in Port Talbot, they're one of my customers. We were having a conversation about cars one afternoon and I told him what I had and he mentioned a friend of his who has a few of them....that turned out to be you! Nice chap.

Yellow coilovers? :hurl: You know you can take the springs out to get them powdercoated..... I'd do everything in my power to powdercoat as much of the aftermarket suspension components in black as I could! I repainted my KYB AGX shocks - they were yellow! VILE! lol

Noel, I have seen bits of info on your own choice on plugs, but would you be able to write a definitive post on these? I understand that spark plug technology has advanced enough whereby the recommended NGK plugs that Nissan advise are no longer as suitable as some new iridium plugs, but I would really like to learn more on this for my own plug selection before I take it to you for mapping at some point next year. Z1 SMICs are going in shortly, along with a brand new OEM engine harness, I'd like to get the best possible signals and spark moving forward. Cheers- Parts from China??
I wouldn't trust the MAF, but I believe the SMICs are copies of the Z1 SMICs. Noel has ordered turbos from China before and hasn't mentioned them not being up to par.- What did you do to your zed today?
- Morning all :-)
Hello! You're not a million miles from me, or PowerZed for that matter!- FAO JeffTT
Met a mate of yours today Dean. Chap called Mark Lewis.- everyday setup
So many parameters to consider. If you don't want much low then a set of Eibach springs will be your best bet with some KYB AGX shocks. The least crashy most comfy coilover would be the MiesterR street versions, can't remember what they're called now, Zeta maybe? A halfway house would be something like I have which are Tein S-Tech. On the latter two you'll really need adjustable control arms and tension rods which have solid joints. If you go for the Eibach option, you can get away with having a shim kit (like the one made by 300 Degree) which means you can keep your stock control arms and tension rods. This will retain a more comfy ride.- wheel colour
Don't care for any of them. :(- wheel colour
I really like almost all of the TwinZ products, but the P-Spec bumper is not one of those. Turns the front end into something that resembles a bottom-feeder. Not attractive what-so-ever.- wheel colour
We all knew it would only be a matter of time before he ruined it Alan! First a Dust-Buster front bumper and now, black wheels!- what i built this week in work. and what does every work as ?
Nice work Dan!- wheel colour
Just leave them as they are! Those wheels are rare and very nice. I personally can't stand black wheels at all. White wheels aren't my thing either and I think red and white are a real clash. If you're going to do anything with those wheels, I'd say get the centres powdercoated shadow-chrome.- Bye-bye tax disc
Peasant! ;)- Bye-bye tax disc
I am surprised of the amount of cars that still have tax disks on them. I pulled both of mine out the very day that weren't didn't have to display anymore! - Aftermarket Chip Analysis & Comparison
