  1. The fog lights are slightly harder, especially with masking and removing the clear tabs (without breaking)! Chuffed that people are using my ideas. :)
  2. Honestly? I think it looks fantastic, but I think I'd have gone for a charcoal leather on the outers rather than a red leather.
  3. Looking good Si! You can now take the little plastic bonnet stay clip off....!
  4. Clay pulls out solid deposits such as a small tar spots, tree sap, bird lime etc. Paint cleaner pulls out anything that may have stained and marks that the clay wouldn't be able to touch.
  5. Poo head! :p I know where you'll be the first week of September though!! :p
  6. Just fit the 'Twin Turbo' decal else I'll stick condoms on your mirrors at Beaulieu.
  7. Another thing.....get rid of those ebay indicators and get some version 2 JDM front indicators. Gary did this after me bugging him for ages....and he did and he is now a really happy man. :) You can pop the orange filters out quite easily by splitting the lenses.
  8. What a thoroughly nice guy! He's only just left actually and was here all evening. We took the Z out and he discussed the one he had. He took lots of photos and showed genuine interest! 'It's a fabulous looking thing' was said. Spent a long time discussing Top Gear with him and he still has the old screen takes from when he brought James May and Jeremy Clarkson on board. He still keeps in regular contact with Tiff who he's good friends with and I mentioned to him the Nissan promo video that Tiff did and he says he'll have a chat with Tiff about the car. Jon took quite a few notes from me too and he says he is likely to use them in a future article. He's also up for meeting again! Hopefully when I've had chance to replace the rear bushings and fit my Brembos!
  9. Thanks dude. :) It's actually a Toyota colour. I had the body shop match the original solid colour with a metallic equivalent, the same was used for my moustache.
  10. :D Correct! Estimated delivery is the end of the month latest! They've yet to meet the airfreight connection, hopefully that will happen Monday! :)
  11. Their TV commercial was enough to put me off!
  12. Yup, I agree! I was quite happy with this. Ocean freight was coming out about the same.
  13. Well they're on their way! FINALLY! It nearly didn't happen as sending payment to Japan is seemingly impossible! PayPal isn't widely used in Japan, paying with credit card as a user not present is also seemingly impossible as most systems use kana so inputting your Weston typeset name into the boxes (even if translated) won't work and the card will be refused. Fortunately, I know the owner of Daytona Racing who's based in Fukuoka one of the southerly islands in Japan and he was good enough to help me transfer payment as he has a PayPal. The financial system in Japan couldn't be any different to here. You can pay for stuff on online auctions at your local convenience store and there are sorts of funny ways that the Japanese can pay online too - but as a westerner, it's near impossible unless you have a Japanese bank account. You can buy smaller items from 'buyee', but large heavy things such as wheels, it starts to become difficult. The guy I used to use in California who ran wheel-choice no longer does this. Anyway, currently the wheels are travelling from Kobe to Toyko to a courier's warehouse where I will then ship them internationally via airfreight. If you're outside of Japan, quotations for such size and weight were coming up 250000JPY (£1500) - the same price as the wheels (before Japanese taxes)! Fortunately I know another Japanese national in Los Angeles who's negotiated me a deal down to $750 which is around the £480 mark which is a little better! Can't wait for these buggers to land! :)
  14. Saw the ZedWorld sticker, so maybe I am wrong. PM JeffTT as he used to own what was ZedWorld. He have have some information about it still.
  15. Welcome! I've seen that car for sale for a few months now and thought it looked pretty straight. From what I know, it's a fairly fresh import so you're unlikely to find too much history on it. Your V5 (when you get it through) should tell you your date of first registration.
  16. Fit 'Nissan' and 'Twin Turbo'. (I just have 'Twin Turbo' on my rear panel). Regardless of the heritage and meaning, 'Fairlady' is rather ghey! lol
  17. Just don't fit the 'fairlady' decal! lol
  18. Just as long as Jodie Kidd isn't a presenter - she's more annoying than dump valves. She ruined 'The Classic Car Show' that was spearheaded and co-presented by Quentin Wilson. Ferrari 250 California.
  19. I will. Airfreight is gonna be £750!
  20. When things get taken tooooo far. You should have seen the roll cage in this thing; pure comedy!
  21. Do it! :)
