I've not been to many meets, but the meets I have been to, I've become chatty to most and consider a number of them friends. It's a cracking community of which I've only been part of for a short period of time. Long may it prosper. :duffer:

Greg, anymore pics of the red zed.....those rims look very similar to mine.

Gaz they are TSW Kylami, very nice wheels actually, considering what TSW were like a few years ago. His are 9" rear, 7.5" fronts...(I think) which is the only way to go. Deeper dish rear has to be done. Anyway, these are them and you can also get them with anthracite centres....would look the bogs dollocks on yours bud.

Hope someone told the chap on the right that he had his coat on the wrong way round.... :nelson:

Sorry I couldn't make it today guys. Zed's pissing oil out (off to Jay's place next weekend though for some TLC :hyper: )and I just couldn't be arsed to take the Arsetra up. No fun without the Zed. See you all at the February meet though! :hyper:

...and the mirrors. Looks a bit of a shed to be honest. There are so many tatty ones kicking about that it makes the general price of the cars seem to low. I'm still happy to pay £4k+ for a tidy unmolestered example.

Right, buy a banger for a while then got and speak to Lee at http://www.import-ance.co.uk He's the chap who imported my Zed. He deals with very good quality cars. Whilst mine's got its niggles, it's generally a very good car in lovely condition. The website's not been updated for a while, as you see, my Zed which I've owned for 6 months is still up there. Chewie, please please please keep the Stillen one. It's a quality bit of kit and is rare in comparison to the 'other' one you had. They are common and personally, I think they just don't suit the zed at all.

Stillen for sure, no question about it. The other one, sorry to those that have got them, looks like a year 11 Technology project.

I gave up, I've put it all back together and wrapped the central spar in insulation tape. Feels pretty good now. Really can't see that thing ever being taken apart. Trouble is, in the bad mood and swearing, I've misplaced the 12mm bolt that holds the assembly to the centre section via the lower rubber gaitor. So it's not located properly. I'll have a look tomorrow when it's daylight.

Right, I've got the insulation tape out now.....mmmmm, had a thought, might make small slits in the bushes to try and get them on............oh dunno. ****ing fed up. I can't even move the car, there's a rachet underneath and the car's stuck in 4th gear with another car infront of it.
