That's just it though I think Pete, I don't want that role. Each of us wants different things in life and for me to become a father figure is not one of them. I'd want a relationship with the girl, not her kids. :)

This isn't to throw scorn on anyone in this situation. But as I'm getting older (I know this is obvious, but just an observation) the amount of single mothers out there is unbelievable. Got a few girls interested in me at the moment and they both have kids and any I do try to get to know also have kids. I don't have kids myself and never will. Just find it really wierd.

****ing hell dude...not fair is it. I went through a similar stage that you're going through about 5 years ago so I know almost exactly how you feel....misses walked out on me, 2 friends killed in car crash, was made redundant, mother ill in hospital and car decided to self distruct like yours did. All within the space of about 2 months. It's hard mate, but there's always life at the end of the tunnel, it'll just take some time to pull through, but be head strong and you'll come out the other end, held held high pronouncing that 'I don't give shit, throw me your worst'.

Do it then! Nice wide deep dish at the rear too.

They are 18"...same size as my current ones. The rear tyres on my zed now are 265 wide. These are the same. But with that more agressive dish, it'll give the car a lot more road presence.

It was checked along with the water pump. It will be replaced soon.

Thanks guys...I'll try them for size anyway and see what they look like. More presence than my current ones but lack shine. When chromed like mine are, I think they'll look a lot better.....we'll see. Failing that I'll just flog them.

You need bigger rims on your Zed though Kev I reckon....wide arse ones at the rear...would compliment what bodymods you have, they look a little dwarfed by the rest of the car.

Glue one to the steering wheel too I reckon. Get a robo-suck installed on the column and have them running off a solenoid routed to the boost controller.

Here's some more pics of them fitted to the RX7. They look better here. They are filthy though, so not much shine. I'd get them chromed like mine totally if I were to fit them.

Cool....makes quite a difference from the overall look of the car. Wierd that something so small can do that. Minimising colours is the best way to make a car more pleasing to the eye IMHO. A reason for me changing my lights to 99spec versions, for ridding the front indicator units of their filters and replacing the orange ones on the wings. :) Before... After...

Gutted for ya mate. Hope all is well. Mine was replaced when I bought it, although the tensioner was checked, it wasn't replaced, something I'll doo fairly soon.

Gonna be there Sunday pal I think.....looks like my car will be in peices on the Saturday..... lol Danny's shown an interest in hooking up.

Having a load of work done on my Zed on Saturday (next weekend), when done, myself and Legrath are popping up to see John Dixon...both wanting nice engine safe chips for our Zeds. Just wondering if anyone is about and wants to meet at a pub that evening.

Imports rarely come with any history from Japan. You'd not understand if even it was. Mine was a grade 4 import and only came with Japanise de-registration papers and a few other bits and bobs. Does sound like a Dog...was it deffinately a turbo not an NA?

02 plate Astra Estate 1.7 DTi misserable thing to drive and to look at. It's being replaced at the end of March though with a brand new Astra 1.7CDTi Design. I quite like the MK5 Astras, the Estate is quite pretty for an estate car.
