Running a JDM Zed on uk RON fuel
I've been reading about people having amazing results just by fitting this. My car already feels pretty quick, a few Zed club members have driven it and say it boosts very hard.

Running a JDM Zed on uk RON fuel
....mine's not stock. Boost jets....running about 14PSi....but I rarely use all those 14PSi....

ahhhhhhhhhh No power!!!
Mine went in much the same way actually. Was waiting to fill up. Got into the petrol station, filled car up, got back in, just the click of all the relays. Had to get Legrath out to come and save me!:headvswal:

RX7s sound w@nk though. Have you ever heard one with a large exhaust on full chat? Sounds dreadful. 3000GT/GTO are not fast than Zeds. Only one of that lot other than the Zed that I'd consider is the Skyline, but I'd got for an R32 GTR. S14...ok, but pretty bland. Best looking Skyline IMHO

Mine did the same...but I left one of the interior lights on when I was fiddling around with it in the garage.... DOH! :headvswal

Running a JDM Zed on uk RON fuel
Ok, so I've got an uprated ECU which is currently running JDM fuel mapping....Circa 100RON. Now, I know it's detremental to the health of the engine running a lower grade fuel (super U/L), I am hopefully getting a new chip this weekend...from Mr Dixon if all is well and good. I don't drive my Zed hard, infact, I don't keep it on boost for anymore than about 3 or 4 seconds and I don't boost it that often anyway. It doesn't get used much and I think I've only done a few thousand miles since I've owned it. So, it shouldn't really have effected the engine as if I was to have been driving it hard? Just wondering really. John Dixon chip on the way, so all is good....

Can I wear my sexy black liatard?

Anyone got John Dixon's telephone number?
Please PM me if you have.....wanting one of his chips....been reading how good they are especially since mine's running JDM fuel mapping at the moment. :nelson:

opinions on these wheels
Deep dish all the way for me. Need wider ones at the back. Do like them, but would not get something like that. A deep dish rim gives the car more road presence, especially if you've got 10" wide rear wheels.

pics of my bumper... horrah
Not my cuppa tea I'm afraid......glad you're happy with it though.

Where at the out door one at Westonzoyland?

Warning: Newbie Q's
300ZX looks a million times better than a 200SX. The road presence of the ZX has people stopping and turning, something the 200sx just doesn't do.

It's nice that you can instantly place Kev shoving his hands up a cow's rectum. :mac1:  ;)- New Focus ST
Corvette C5 is about 400bhp. But their 0-60 figures are comparable with a standard Zed I think. Tuneable engine though. - Jan meet pics
