As for the mesh, I bought this particular car because it looked like it was set up with plenty of safety lee way for driving at its limits, so think I'm going to leave it without mesh. Put some new pirelli P zeros on the rear today hmmmmmmmm nice. Would like some uprated brakes, possibly intercooler, but everyones got their shopping lists so I think I'll just enjoy going fast for now. Got oil pressure, oil temp and exhaust gas temp gauges going on tomorrow so I'll be able to see exactly how shes running when pushed hard. Then I can decide If there is any need for better intercoolers,etc. I love the way it looks but love the way it drives (fffaaaassssttttt) even more. Just a bit of a random one ,but thought I'd mention it. Have you checked things such as wastegate connections and the like? I doubt both turbos would go at the same time and surely one turbo would still produce at least some noticable pressure in the manifold. People seem to jump to the 'my turbos have gone' conclusion but its often something less drastic. Yours wild guessing ,Dave

Does anybody use octane booster. Was thinking about getting some for the track day at castle combe on the 15th aug. Wondered if it was worthwhile, figured it would be good if I was pushing the car hard. But does it matter that the car is not normally running on that octane level (mapping,etc)? Dave

My mate just brought back the photos he took of the car. They are incredible. I'm absolutely chuffed with them. I'll post them after dinner as he's done a cd copy as well. Not safety boost, running a little under a bar, the car hit about 5.5k at full boost and jerked like it does at rev limit and lost boost pressure due to this . But a second later was back to its perfect running self, with full boost on acceleration etc. Its only happened twice but I'd like to know what it is. Other than that the car is sweet as a nut. Will try some diagnostics if it ever starts doing it again. Don't think anything will show up normally (vts for instance) though as its only happened twice. Maybe its just a dodgey connection. Just thinking, doesnt the e-01 record the runs on memory stick or something? gonna have to read the destructions! Cheers for any suggestions. Dave

Bucket, water, sponge, maguires shampoo, followed by maguire's scratchx (just because it was knocking around and thought I'd try it, took 3 bloody hours!), and then triple wax polish. Hopefully it'll last for 6 months as I can't be arsed to do it again.

He told me that he used to have a 'nice' car but someone went into the rear. He didn't get any money from the insurance though cause it was worth less than his access (must have been REALLY nice. Don't know how he worked that out if someone went into his rear?
