  1. yeah just gunna keep my eye out for a 99 spec oem just easier
  2. nope, it was sold as used but its not been fitted since its been repaired
  3. i know they take felting but just under the fog light on the back some of the fibreglass is about 3/4 inch thick so not repairable :( kinda sucks as its actually an attractive bumper
  4. yeah i got boss boxes still with stock speakers work really well for there age
  5. from above you can see the bottom pokes out more than the front, it dont seem too much but by the time you get to the end of the bumper that length exaggerates the twist here you can see it is somewhat fitted, by that i mean the other side hanging off, its a case of fit one side or the other not both not one to give it i fitted it without the metal bracket, the one on the floor. with a little force it can just about meet the studs on the wings. but when you compare the sides the passenger side is straight whereas the drivers side is kicking out towards the bottom. can also see how the centre scoop is changing size from one side to the other
  6. yeah thats what i was thinking, just have to hope the guy is gunna be honest about it
  7. thanks because i paid via paypal i have email so ill send him another email. and i guess i can take it up with paypal but i think thats a long shot. thanks
  8. so jealous my dream car right there xD
  9. Story goes a few months ago (without naming names) I brought a fibreglass bumper here on the forum and it looked great, so as its fibreglass gave it a test fit.......... bent! Don't fit i was expecting some fettling but when you take a closer look its had some rather extensive repair on the drivers side. messages the seller..... no reply. but as I was expecting work to need doing to it anyway I left it. but now iv taken it to my bodywork guy who has written it off im feeling a bit hard done by. iv got oodles of photos showing its twisted but now got no clue if its too late to at least try sort this out? just looking for advice Thanks :3
  10. hey guys time to get this out my shed xD came on my zed but wanted something louder, little scuff underneath from the poxy speedbump outside my work and a bit of rust on the tailpipes but is a nice sounding exhaust. very quiet at idle and no drone on the motorway :) open to offers xD
  11. never done a compression test but will have to look into it
  12. i have though about the pcv valve but thought it to be too coincidental that a week after messing with the exhaust it starts doing it. only dose it on a hot engine. iv rebuilt 300zx turbo's before but never fitted them, and sadly don't have them any more. flogged them cheep as they still needed balancing.
  13. pretty sure i know the answer to this but after fitting a pretty much straight through exhaust im getting intermittent blue smoke out of my passenger exhaust im guessing its turbo seal time but it being intermittent seems odd. Always at idle but will be fine for a day then just do it while sitting thanks in advance :)
  14. brought this a few months ago of a member on here who failed to mention it was damaged and repaired so selling it cheep for anyone who is a dab hand with the fibreglass xD as you can see its a bit twisted and dont line up right on the car, few cracks around the mounting holes too
  15. my oil pressure gauge has been pissing about for about 8 months now xD always works when its cold and sometimes works when its hot xD
  16. AWESOME!! thanks guys, just got to get flywheel skimmed before i fit new clutch :)
  17. Hey guys just a quickie what bearing is the right on for a TT? Thanks in advance :)
  18. iv also been having problems with my clutch since i did my manual conversion. i used a good used clutch and always assumed it was that causing it. iv got a new clutch ready to put in but may have a play about with the pedal adjustment and the rod length. but i always thought the hydraulic system was self adjusting and the pedal adjustment was just to change the hight of the pedal. but i will give it a try :)
  19. good to hear you found the problem xD, both of my gaiters are split but my steering rack had play in it so will just change the whole lot xD
  20. hey guys looking to install an aluminium radiator and electric fan, but would like to ask if anyone know what sort of temp sensor to get and/or the temp range needed sick of my car sounding like a bus ;) thanks in advance :)
  21. hey guys really want to get my AC going in the z but need a new condenser as mine is cracked and in a pretty bad state. anyone know of a good option on used or replacement units? i know there are problems with the aluminium fittings oxidising together but mine on the car are ok thanks in advance :)
  22. Hiya guys mot due soon and got 1 leaking rear shock and 1 leaking front so looking for either both of them or a good set of used after market dampers/coilovers thanks :)
  23. i think im in love!!!
  24. its my daily so will probably just get stock setting then :)
