  1. Thanks mate! I'm chuffed to bits with it!! And best part the bronze colour hides brake dust :D IV been thinking of changing that spoiler for a replica 99 speck from z center. Still not sure yet though.
  2. I'm running 225/40/18 on the front and 245/40/18 rear. They fit very well
  3. treated my zed to some new alloys at long last! very happy with the outcome :D

  5. nicely done, whats it coming out for?
  6. That sucks D: FYI 10k post you just made in here lol
  7. Installing some shinies!!! been wanting these since i knew they existed
  8. The think is I was thinking of running 8.5j all round. Engine is stock and it's my daily, probably squeeze some 245/35/18 on there
  9. right guys i need wheels, and the ones i have my heart set on im not 100% will fit. due to my lack of understanding with offsets soo 18x8.5 et25 just worried about rubbing on the arches https://www.japshop.co.uk/acatalog/XR521-1885-1BZ---T-18x8.5-ET25-5X114.3-FULL-FLAT-BRONZE-1076.html#SID=1558 thanks for any help lol
  10. well the low beam iv replaced with a ebay unit that is a high/low retrofit for standard reflector type headlights. had to cut the standard low beam bracket up in order to attach it to the mount and retain the adjustment screws functionality. the high beam is a small led light bar that is basically bolted the the white plastic housing as it wouldn't mount to the factory reflector no matter how much i cut it up.
  11. get yourself one of these boys!! been amazing in all the rubbish weather
  12. oh i know right?? its the only way to work on these damn things lol
  13. Thanks guys means a lot :D as a project car it'll never be finished  Had the car a year before i even had my licence so was my first car i had on the road, its a 91 import started as a auto but converted to manual. engine wise its pretty stock with all the usual bypasses and deletes. .Mines ecu .Apexi air filter .Apexi EBC (14psi) .longlife straight through exhaust with scorpion back boxes and divorced downpipes .skyline injectors .hks BOV's Interior is needing some tarting up for it to be nice but least everything work's including the heated RX8 seats ;) and the exterior is self explanatory. 99spec bumper and rep rear lights. side skirts from Car Mad. also HEAVILY modified headlights that have proved themselves to be amazing compared to stock. chucked up a bunch of photos for ya too :P
  14. Well after having had this Zed now for 6 years i thought id make a thread for it. kinda always seen it as a rough 300 especially compared to some of the stunners you guys have on here, I'm feeling my totally DIY car is finally pretty decent. From start to now im extremely proud even if it has taken 6 years  still have a picture from the Ebay listing where i got it
  15. was one of these projector kits below. however i know some bmw and vw use a similar setup, but couldn't find a set in my price range lol https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-2-5-Mini-HID-Bi-xenon-Projector-lens-Kit-Headlight-Bulb-Shroud-H1-high-low/281394647817?epid=1639245810&hash=item41846d9309:g:CZUAAOxyNThTegv~
  16. Actually did this a few weeks ago but wanted to give it a good road test. Works amazing compared to stock! replaced the OEM projector for a high/low beam projector with 4300k HID while keeping it mounted to the factory mount so can still be aimed and all wires so low beam will stay on with the high. Also replaced the high beam with a fixed *32w* (more like 14w) led flood. might not be everyone's taste but im loving it
  17. looks like muggins here has been roped into work :( not gunna be able to make it im afraid.
  18. this is totes a good idea lol
  19. Oh damn another close to me, im in croydon too lol
  20. REALLY want to make this meet, seeing as if had the zed for almost 6 years and never been to a zed meet
  21. red with a black top by any chance?
  22. totally agree... this is literally where the rubber meets the road, no matter how good the car's brakes or suspension is, the tyres are the bottleneck.
  23. i dunno if its just me but anyone else noticed when you're out at night in the zed and any new bmw with laser headlights or merc and there led factory headlights are awful and burn the retainer right out of your eye's??? Its just another law to make us jump through hoops and i doubt any of us will be permanently removing them anytime soon
  24. those ones are $900 with bluetooth to make the light show and you have to send them the lights to convert. can also get them for $700 if you just want normal brake and sequential turn signal. http://zledslights.com/home/#!/Nissan-Z32-300ZX-LED-Conversion-I/p/54634108/category=11055037
