EU: Leave or Remain
As someone who voted "Out" you therefore picked me out as being a racist by your sweeping generalisation. The same sort of generalisation, I might add, that has the media claiming that every person who voted "Out" did so because of immigration. See where I'm going with this....?

EU: Leave or Remain
How is calling someone an "insular, racist bigot" simply a figure of speech?? You can't just go throwing things like that around without a thought! As I said, this is exactly what I've hated about the whole thing: that someone is prepared to classify me as a racist based on nothing more than the fact that I voted a different way to them... so very sad, really...

EU: Leave or Remain
So, without knowing the first thing about me, you're happy to openly call me a "racist bigot"...? Just wow... this is what I've hated most about this whole referendum!

Third brake light bulbs - which ones?
Are these the right bulbs...?

EU: Leave or Remain
Why racist? Seriously, why are you classing the ENTIRE United Kingdom as being racist bigots....?

Bye bye EU
All this panic... it makes me sad.

Third brake light bulbs - which ones?
The front sidelights (within the foglights) are just standard 501 bulbs, Jay. Same as for the numberplate lights.

Third brake light bulbs - which ones?
What sort of bulbs does the 89 Spec third brake light (in the spoiler) take? :thumbup1:

are all dyno's equal
The engine in question is (I believe) out of Josh Lake's old Zed. When I was down at Powerzed a couple of weeks ago, Jimmer had said that it had been sold as a "turn key" package so, theoretically, this car shouldn't require any dyno work once the new engine's been installed as absolutely everything engine, fuel, ECU and ignition-related will have been transplanted into Roly's car. :)

"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
I went to Pickering on Sunday for the Yorkshire Modified show. Here's a nice little picture that was taken as I was entering the event: The Zed got lots of attention and positive comments, so I was a happy Mondo :)

2016 Annual Club Meet and AGM - Coventry Transport Museum Sunday 17th July
Lee Dent's coming...?? I'll compile a list for him... hope he brings his spanners...!

Something like that, yeah. I just need to give some proper thought to how the end product will look, instead of just choosing what I liked the look of on the rack! It's quieter now than when it had the Powerflow system on. Not a massive decrease, but it's certainly less boomy on a long run. :)

"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
I've had this exhaust on for about a week now and I've decided that I will be having the tailpipes changed at the very least. Infinity have said that that's perfectly doable and I think I've figured what (for me, anyway) the issue is: As you can see, the swage line in the bumper is parallel to the join between the bumper and rear quarter - what I think I should've done is to have the tilt of the tailpipes match those lines, instead of being parallel to the ground as they are. Also, I think they protrude a little too far so I'll have the new ones (a different style) tucked in slightly, as well as angled up a bit. This should all be happening in August some time when it goes to Powerzed for a little bit of welding ( :( :( ) and to have the rear crank seal replaced. While the 'box is off, Jimmer will be swapping the downpipes for the 3" versions and then she'll be getting trailered to Infinity to have the system modified to meet the new DPs and to have the tailpipes sorted. Not cheap cars, are they......

If you have a look on Infinity Exhaust's page on Facebook, there's a video on there that they took about 5 minutes after they'd finished everything. :)

Roof trim
I don't imagine the roof trims could be powdercoated as they're partially plastic - the heat required to cure the powder would destroy the plastic parts!

Big Brake Kits
Erm, those rear ones look... hilarious...! That was really the only way someone could think to mount them...?

Insurance woes
Today finds me an unhappy Mondo. I ended up renewing my cover with Classic Line last night for £322 as no other quote I'd had came overly close to that and I hadn't had a callback from Graham Sykes (as per Gray's post) with a quote. Imagine my dischuffedness (yes, it's now a word!) to find that I had a voicemail from Graham Sykes which confirmed a premium of £223.04 for the year!! That's every last mod declared and includes legal cover and breakdown too! Bugger! :( Well, I guess you can all imagine where I'll be ringing straight away next year. Bloody phone... thanks for letting me know I had a voicemail.... :pinch:

Big Brake Kits
So this is just for the four calipers and mounting kits, yeah...?

Insurance woes
3 points here, no claims and all mods declared. No idea how they arrived at that price though.....

Insurance woes
Lancaster Insurance have weighed in with £363.86. Although it's more expensive than Classic Line, I have the option to pay it monthly - us self-employed trimmers don't earn megabucks, you see..... Waiting on a callback from Graham Sykes (as per Gray's post earlier) to see what they can offer as they had to run the mod list via their panel.

Insurance woes
I wish I had an interest-free credit card... or even a card with enough available credit...! :pinch:

Insurance woes
I was all set to renew with Classic Line this morning for £322, until they told me that they'd changed their criteria and any policies under £350 now have to be paid in full, rather than monthly! That's me scrabbling around down the back of the couch this afternoon..... :pinch:

Happy Birthday TonyB
I wouldn't have said 65 when you were here the other weekend! Happy birthday, Tony!
