Gumtree TT manual SWB
Interesting one: When it failed it's MOT, it was showing 82841 kms. When it passed the following day, it was showing 51103 miles. Now 82841 kms converted into miles is 51776, so it managed to lose over 500 miles in the space of a day as well!! Dodgy. As. F*ck!!

Gumtree TT manual SWB
In fact, I'm gonna call bull on it's most recent MOT! All those advisories were sorted out in a single day (including the emissions) and they managed to find time to reset the odometer as well? Taken to a different test centre the following day as well.... Seriously, hmmmmm!!!

Gumtree TT manual SWB
According to it's MOT history, it's only just expired and the owner's selling it for FAR less than they paid for it... alarm bells ringing loud!!

Gumtree TT manual SWB
I'm sure that this is the one I went to see up here last year! It seems to have the Altia quarter windows, same as that one did. And the windscreen trims look identically knackered as well. If it is the same one, the engine was running on 4 cylinders and the boost gauge was sat just below the centre mark on idle. The paintwork was pretty grim and the whole car was tatty overall. Bear in mind it was up for sale for £4k last year so, if it's now up for £1.5k with no MOT, I'm guessing the seller knows something they're not stating in the advert.......

Whatever happened to COTM this year...?
Has our Car Of The Month competition died a death this year, by any chance?

What did you do to your zed today?
I replaced my OEM spoiler with a Car.Mad replica and, according to the bodyshop, it was a good fit out of the box. Not perfect, but good. Sad to hear that a Kuruma part isn't cutting the mustard... not what I would've expected at all :(

Z32s at auction
I'm sure I saw somewhere that those slatted covers used to be widely available for our cars (back in the day, of course)... And every time I see a convertible Zed, I find myself wanting one more and more....... :pinch:

What did you do to your zed today?
Why, Gaz? Just for the sake of originality, or some other reason? When mine was removed in 2014, it couldn't go in the bin fast enough! Granted, it sounds like mine was in far worse shape than either yours or Andrew's, but still...

What did you do to your zed today?
For Zeb, I reckon.

z31z32 newbie
SWBs over here are ridiculously scarce, both in comparison to their LWB kin and just in car terms in general!!

My 300ZX Z32 Birthday Cake
You must have different rules over there, judging by how far the wheels are extending beyond the arches! Seriously though, that is cool... very cool indeed. She's a keeper! And happy birthday too

Replacing the boost gauge face
Correct! I've just pulled my spare clocks apart and the boost gauge is completely separate to the speedo  I just need to replace the boost gauge (or the face of it) as I'm sick of it reading in "MMhgnrlhgskdsdb" instead of "PSI"

Replacing the boost gauge face
Anyone know how easy/hard it is to replace just the face on the stock boost gauge? Will I have to start removing needles and suchlike...?

insurance trouble
I found that question being asked a lot as well. For example, when I mentioned the new exhaust system, most companies asked if it was purely cosmetic or cosmetic and performance-enhancing. They then went on to ask what the new BHP figure was for the car, so all I could do was estimate things. I understand why they ask the more in-depth questions, but I wasn't expecting them and so probably sounded like a bit of a muppet every time they asked and I just replied with "Errrrm.....!!"
