  1. Its absolutely solid and its only surface rust which youll get on any steel one - looks worse because of lighting. Dave
  2. Apparently outsold the Ipod in the States so mystery why stopped! Noticed a lot of owners on high priced caravan & motorhome sites are using 'Fenwicks' shampoo (dont know this one) and some used Turtlewax apparently with success. Dave
  3. Right- just left Landlod feinds leaving party and walked the half mile to yard....and back for your pics! piece in excellant condition except youll need to replace 2 of the bolts as sheared- pic2- any exhaust place will have these as shear all the time if you cant use a couple from your old exhaust! Trust OK- will send in morning. :D Regards Dave
  4. Sorry Si- I must missing something- where is the battery cover in the pic? Dave
  5. Standard, normal mid section similiar to pic- but of course not expensive aftermarket stainless as pictured or it would be on mine! ;) This section is pretty boringly standard, but if it puts your mind at rest I'll try and put a pic up later.. Dave
  6. If you want the section, including PP will be £25 which will also include Paypal charges; davidpascall@scientificdesign.co.uk If you send, will post tomorrow and you should get Wed. Regards Dave
  7. I thought this was the mid section you wanted from me  Dave
  8. Arn't we nice! Just thought- my centre section is for a TT 2 +2- still OK?
  9. Even better, if you have Hellraisers headers and he and I can meet up this week, I'll send the lot strapped together so it saves you postage. Regards Dave :)
  10. Right I've got a mid section you can have for £10 plus post if you want- good condition- with this you will have the full set! Regards Dave :D
  11. Lovely.....but sad that FunkiSi is thinking of molesting the virginal white of the beautiful Z! Dave
  12. Fraid this is my God since I followed the US owner through the purchase and fitting of one of (apparently the last) genuine kit & wheels from Strosek- still turns me on when I look at her! After that.....Gruntpa (I obviously have a thing for wide arch Strosek), Stellaz, Martinfa, Steve, Zelda (Sgt C) and...really pains me but.........FunkiSi! Dave :D
  13. Hi Si I was intriged by your points re filters and came across the following on a forum- surprised @ the OEM filter construction- what are your thoughts? 4th post down- comparative filters opened up. Regards Dave http://myg37.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-and-forced-induction/175085-dont-use-nissan-oem-oil-filters-long-post-lotsa-pics-4.html
  14. Got two- apart from transmission failure on one(and that can happen with most cars)- both run beautifully and everything works! Own a lot of motors of all types and really dont find these worse than anything else- surprising numbers of alternative sources for reasonably priced spares and loads of info/support out there. Loads of motors over 5yrs old get increasingly difficult to get spares for, lack info, and their manufacturers are no help- even BMW & Mercedes! Regards Dave
  15. I bow to your use of words but of course to inhibit something, that something has to be there. Rust is oxidation due to the presence of water and air- over 30+ years I have used Waxoyl on a great number of vehicles- many with some surface rust on some surfaces and whether through the exclusion of moisture/air or the 'inhibitors' they did not suffer from terminal corrosion later- indeed we regularly inspect the vehicles I still own and they are like new. I am not talking about steel that is seriously corroded and scaled, but the large areas that have little protection underneath and will have pinprick rust even on new cars. For me it does exactly what it says on the tin and thats based on hard personal experience! Regards Dave :)
  16. According to Waxoyl; It is recognised as the premier product to prevent rust and corrosion, especially in automotive applications where vehicles are run on salt covered roads or in a hostile environment. Waxoyl is unusual for being superb at controlling rust on older vehicles. Waxoyl soaks into rust and is capable of pretty much stopping it dead. In doing so even a vehicle with established rust can have its lifespan extended by many years. Waxoyl's water-repellent additives and high performance inhibitors offer long-term protection against corrosion. Marketing blurb with cans: WAXOYL HAS A UNIQUE FORMULA THAT SOLVES THE PROBLRM OF HIDDEN RUST ONCE AND FOR ALL. A THICK WAXY FLUID, SATURATED WITH A VERY POWERFUL RUSTKILLER, WAXOYL CHASES OUT MOISTURE TO FORM A FLEXIBLE WEATHERPROOF SKIN THAT WONT CRACK. Would appear Waxoyl thinks it can kill rust Si! Regards Dave
  17. Quote: 'With everything under the car brand new and the amount of £££ i want to keep it that was now. as i notice some surface rust on the stillen drop links and they have only been fitted for 2 months' Waxoil best under car as kills rust, repels water, lubricates bushes and joints and creeps back if an area scratched and into seams etc. Get black version and looks good as well. Far better than painting components under the car which are exposed to everyday driving. If you cant borrow a compressor and underseal/ Scholtes gun (best) they do aerosols or a hand pumped Waxoyl applicator. Regards Dave
  18. Hi Craig If you are referring to the spoiler I am selling, the brake light is connected. If you have just the spoiler, I will leave the bottom quarter of the tailgate attached and this will have the wiring connected in so you will be able to match it to yours- arn't I nice! Regards Dave
  19. Hi Murt Use Spybot normally but no effect. Where do I find CC Cleaner? Puzzled the others all list Vundo but dont seem to be able to clean. Regards Dave
  20. Hoping some experets on here can help. Vundo seems to have got onto my computor and can't shift it- seems to be hidden self replicating registry type- tried Super Antispyware Pro/ CA Antivirus/ Anti Spyware. all can see but after deleting it pops up again. Any fixes? Regards Dave
  21. Well!....Did it work and wheres the pics!! Can't stand the suspense!! Dave
  22. interesting!- just about to throw away the one I took out but will try this myself- did you just put a magnet on them? How long? Regards Dave

  24. As offered to someone else on here recently, I have a box with converter bought from another member as good but never fitted. Yours for £200 plus del which is way less than I paid! :( Regards Dave
  25. Main use for these is to remove gearbox oil through dipstick when there is no sump plug and prevent tipping it over yourself when you remove sump to change filters!
