  1. Tail lights cracking up internally - a right mission to take these photos as the back of the car is parked right up against the back of the garage, hence not the best pics. Got that same cracking up but more on the centre and passenger side sections - just couldn't get a decent picture. I'm not going to replace these until the weathers ok to drive again, as I don't really want to start the car, just to move it slightly out so I can get enough space to change these lights.
  2. Nice shiny new ones crack free ?
  3. Old indicators all cracked up
  4. The Z's been in hibernation since early November so nothing has really happened in these last few months, other than going to the garage once a week or two to check all is in order. During the works last year, all went really smoothly in the hands of Dream Body Works and PowerZed as you'd expect, but went a bit pear shaped when the tuner had it, as it sat outside during the heatwave for 3-4 weeks until any work was even done on it, with the fresh soft paint... If I knew it was going to sit outside for that long, I would have brought it home until it was actually going to be worked on. Lots of phone calls and texts asking for updates to see what was going on, but was ignored for about 4 weeks!! Unfortunately this caused a bit of damage to the car as follows:- - All tail lights cracked up from the heat (they're about 13-14 years old) - Rear reg plate cracked up - Mild lacquer burn over the car (thankfully machine polished out) - Some other bits Jimmer and me found when I last visited him, but that's for another day... A random one which happened, assuming due to a manufacturer defect, is the front bumper indicators cracked up around the screws, as this happened before it went to the tuner. Over the past month I ordered a new set of front bumper indicators, a complete set of new tail lights including the centre section. The centre section is on back order, so will be posted at a later date. Also got x2 replacement screws for the kick plates, as those are the only ones the bodyshop lost - not bad considering this time last year every body panel was off the car!
  5. Same situation with me so unfortunately I won't be making it this time. Definitely be out to a lot of the shows for the rest of the year including the AGM, just don't want to risk it this time of year. Have a great time guys and look forward to seeing photos! I'll instead spend the day doing some bits to the Z - update to follow on project thread.
  6. Welcome to the club! You have a fellow Z living near you @TheRealNips. Be great to see some pictures and to hear more about your Z.
  7. I'll be there too for the first time ?. Stayed in New Forest last summer - that part of the world is lovely so should be a nice drive and day out.
  8. This is what I’m banking on! ??
  9. Such a shame this happened, really feel for you. Hopefully the Garage 24 guys sort you out. Had a look at their Instagram and appears they do really high standard work on some special cars to say the least - fingers crossed they find a decent body shop for you. Your engine bay is in great condition which will save on rust repairs, so that's a bonus.
  10. That’s exactly what I meant by a proper drive ?
  11. Sounds like a plan. Early start always better, roads will be far too busy on a Sunday after the show, to have a proper drive.
  12. Welcome to the club, great work you guys have done, love the paintwork. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Hi Rob, See this link below to Z1 website with part numbers listed for the door trims. The OEM door trim part numbers in the above post comes up as an S13 200sx door trim strangely. https://www.z1motorsports.com/door-shell-and-trimming/nissan/oem-300zx-z32-door-moulding-p-3613.html?list_name=CategoryDoorShell%26Trimming&oid=3613%3A0%3A61%3A1&qid=49f9eeade7fd7b5868134435cb221235 Unfortunately Nissan don’t sell these trims for the rear quarter windows without selling the entire window and trim as one set which is obviously quite pricey. The only way around this is buying quality second hand or buying the Kuruma Z replicas that GRMagnum mentions in his first post. They’re not a perfect match for OEM but are decent enough IMO. Give me a shout if any other queries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That is fantastic and so rare to see. It’s all in surprisingly good condition too. As you said before, get a Jap translator to make sense of it all! My Z previous owners had a typed up service history with dates, works done and who by, backed up by every invoice. I’ve continued that and stuck it all in a lever arch. Quite useful when you’re trying to back track what exactly you did a couple years back etc.
  17. You’re so lucky, we got jack all down our end [emoji22]. It seems as though it snowed properly everywhere but where we are!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Bit late to the thread! Can't seem to upload new photos so have re-used some previously posted ones.
  19. I’ve seen your original post of this engine bay refresh before quite a few times and drooled over the pics ?. Its on my to do list for next year. I was thinking of doing over winter but after this weeks drop in temps, I’ve quickly scrapped that idea! Can’t wait to get it looking this good.
  20. When I first got my Z, I had no idea about these coming loose until it started reeking of fuel. Thankfully the guys on the club pointed me straight to this being the cause, and advised the swap to the newer style clamps. Later that year Jimmer swapped them over and no more worrying about engine fires since!
  21. No templates available for our cars unfortunately. They (Topaz Detailing) used new design software to custom print PPF to suit my car, which is why I went with them - thanks to Funkysi for recommending this service of theirs. Everyone else does freehand, which was a definite no no for me - didn't want to risk nicking the paint etc. As far as I'm aware, their film is also the only one which improves the shine of the paint, whereas all other suppliers seem to dull the paintwork. I know of a Z owner who was the first to get his respray by Dream Body Works (so same standard as mine) but his PPF which was installed and supplied by another company, dulled the finish sadly.
  22. I ordered mine from Greenline japan too. As Adam says, about a week delivery which is the same amount of time it took for my daily drivers fluids order to turn up from the West Country! [emoji38] From memory they didn’t have steering rack bushes or anti roll bar ones available, so I think I bought energy suspension versions from Concept Z Performance for those. Stock availability may have changed since I bought the parts though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Happy birthday Gary, hope you had a great day [emoji2]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I got the majority of mine from Amayama.com and the bits that weren’t in stock from Z1. PM me your email address and I can email over a document I wrote with all the body trims part numbers for a 2+2 LWB Z. Tried to post it up on the forum as a sticky but haven’t managed to work out how to do that yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. So much better than the sell out Supra. Manual gearbox too, true to the Z brand. Twin turbos does it for me. Lack of turbos is what made me think of the 350z/370z as a disappointment. I like older BMW’s, not so much newer ones, but making the Supra with bmw was an absolute disgrace IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
