Anyone ever made up a UK standard Fuse box cover insert? that cold say be printed, laminated, and stuck in the fuse box with a bit of blue tac, so as not to ruin the existing JDM pedigree of the car?

Mark would this have anything to do with the issues you have at the MOT station, about your lights?

Guessing you have checked fuses. either both headlights are burned out on low beam, the dimmer switch is bad, the headlight switch is bad Im assuming is the switch....

yeah, I thought the same Bol, seems like its just a glorified Seat Leon / ibiza. I bought a Seat Ibiza Cupra 1st sep 2008, brand new, I returned it on the 4th sept 2008 (58 plate) for a full refund lmao. I "rejected the goods" as per the sales of goods act. It was horrible to drive, and no one had one for me to test drive before purchase, which kind of helped as far as returning he car went lol. Got a 61 plate DS3 at the moment as well, but getting rid of that, will be using 300ZX as everyday car once I have sorted out the paint issues on the front bumper, spoiler and wing mirrors. - prob do a full body respray though. I found japanse receipts in cars before, and a flare, in the spare wheel well, instead of in the usual place of the passenger footwell. nothing really strange though. Anyone beat Vod's find? How comes some 300ZX's have different figures on boost gauge? I have seen -7 to +7 as well as -14 to +14 The needle travels the same distance on both and the plus / minus 7/14 figures are located in the same place. are the cars a different spec? -7 to +7 -14 to +14

and weight loss wont effect BHP obviously lol - Just looks a bit like stage 1,2 and 3 of Gran Turismo tuning lol. I always thought (in general not just on 300zx) This is a hugely varied thing, and varies in most opinions, this is my opinion based on the somewhat 11 Jap imports I have modded. It is a very basic list and a lot more work is involved than it looks. There will be parts I havent listed, as its of the top of my head, and havent gone through stripping engine in rebuilding it in my mind before writing it up. Like I said this is generic, and BHP amounts are based on generic % increases. Stage 1 [300bhp]: Reducing Weight to Drivetrain, Lighter pulleys, Fly wheel etc = around 5% extra BHP at the wheels 0% extra at the fly (making all other mods more worth while). Stage 2 [330bhp]: is Stage 1 + Exhaust System and Induction Kit = 10% extra at Fly, (9% at wheels 8% if you havent done stage 1) Stage 3 [365bhp]: is Stage 2 + Adjusting fuelling and boost etc i.e remap = Furher 10% extra at Fly, (9% at wheels 8% if you havent done stage 1) ( All stages from here need remaps) Stage 4 [400bhp]: is all the above, plus prepping for higher boost, Intercooler, boost controller, wastegate, fuel pump etc... = Further extra Stage 5 [500bhp]: all the above plus Forged Internals and increased boost = Further 25% gains at fly 21% at wheels Stage 6 [600bhp+]: all the above plus upgraded turbo's = Further 20% + gains at fly, and 16%+ at wheels.

good plan tim, when I was looking I said bodywork could be a dog, as long as it wasnt rusty and didnt need welding. same for interior. but the engine and gearbox had to be mint. I alwas knew I wanted to tidy one up anyway. Good luck.
