  1. does the zed often fix itself lol? btw, while on the subject, if I were to buy UK clocks, is there anyone who can legitimately adjust the mileage to match my own?
  2. uncle lost 4 fingers. he was an electrician. fixing an industrial tumble dryer for sketchleys. it was shut of at the mains, but some idiot flicked the power back on, not realising he was actually in the dryer. got a nice insurance payout for it, but think he'd rather of kept the fingers. that must hurt. I had anail go through my foot, right up through my shoe too, literally a hole right through, but healed over not ever a speck of a mark now. amazing.
  3. Mate if I had a local pub filled with 300ZX owners, I'd live there lmfao.
  4. just to chat. so we dont spam threads branching of into different subjects. im guilty of it. pleanty here are lol.

  8. lmao just saw last post. its 90's its jap, its forced induction - good choice :D
  9. sorry, but less than 10 years old? whats the fun in that? early 90's is the best period for performance cars. Economic boom, cars were just so much better with much less emissions restrictions and no such thing as practicality. There is the MR2 Tubby, the GTO Twin Turb, the R33 Skyline (I saw a 380bhp gts go for 3k last week) the Mazda Rx7, Toyota Supra, Evo 4, Galant VR4, and the all out amazing 300zx. one thing I can say. Forced induction, 1990's Japanese and your on to a winner.

  18. Hi guys, just a little DIY tip here, incase anyone wants to spray niggly parts on their cars..... (**I hope this is in right section, if not feel free to move it :D and delete this comment**) Firstly you need to remove the part your spraying, for this guide, im showing you a piece I took from my old ST500. As you can see in the picture I had pre paint cleaning wipes to wipe the surface removing any contaniments. This is essential, if it is not perfectly clean, dry and grease free, you WILL have bubbling, peeling, flakey paint at the end of the day. Next you need to spray the primer, its best to follow the same direction, back and forth, either up and down OR left to right, not both. If doing engine parts or brake calipers, ensure your using High temperature Primers. As I was spraying a plastic part, which doesnt get so hot, I used a plastic primer which is much thicker, and gives a smoother overall finish. Leave to dry You need to spray the background colour on last. So tape up the background with masking tape in this case the background was Black, and the foreground lotus scandal green. Ok so on goes the foreground colour, spray in the same way as the primer, but as this is top colour, you will need 2 coats minimum - allow first to dry before applying second: Once dry, cover the foreground colour with vaseline, prior to removing the tape, it doesnt need to be a thick covering, but you want to make sure you cover it 100%, I used my finger tip to apply the vaseline to the foreground. Before removing the tape, wash our hands thoroughly to remove any grease, as if it touches the background, the background colour wont stick. next, apply the background colour all over, again a minimum of two coats will be needed and spray in one direction, not multiple: Leave to dry 100%. Next you just wipe it over, the loose paint on the vaseline, just falls off: once finished you should have something similar to this: If this guide helps you, feel free to add me rep :P
