I'd have this though if it was flush fitted:

he already has he carputer hollandrob81, he doesnt want to use a monitor though, but a head unit, with touch screen, DVD navigation etc etc... I think a touch screen monitor is the way forward, with an external amplifier, so the carputer audio goes straight to the amp, and out to the speakers, thus no need for a head unit. You can obviously use a carputer as a DVD player if needed, as well as navigation. I myself would put a solid state hard disk in the carputer, for pretty much instant loading times :D

could be difficult for an all in one. obviously most screens have AV input, which will display the pc display, however, you cant use the touchscreen to control the carputer, unless its a screen designed for carputers.

something real basic: 2 x single din units, one is the touchscreen monitor, the other is a pc. Utilises both the 300zx's single din slots and gives you your carputer. but personally, Id rather stick a mac mini in the glovebox, and get a high res, fixed screen instead of fold out.

Dont you lose the hicas system lowering it? I do preffer the look lowered, but I have too many farm tracks I have to drive up and down, which would make it a silly choice, unless I used Teins with the EDFC.

As stated above, any touch screen will work, it will have USB and VGA/DVI Connections. I think a Mac Mini and Touchscreen would be nice!

yes nice Zed there. Is there any regular maintenance that can help with prolonging the the turbo seals? I had to change mine on 200sx, and it was an engine drop job :(

All joking aside, wouldnt take much to make it 500bhp, and in a RWD civic which is loads lighter... it will be a serious ride. Have to keep us posted mate.

lol. Good luck to you mate. you have choosen a great car for extracting parts from. check out the 300zx buyers guide too, it will tell you finicky things to check when buying. You should be able to get something for under £1500 if you shop around, as interior and bodywork dont need to be ideal I guess. But, if you go look at a TT 300zx, and test drive it, you might find it hard to chop it up lmao
