Lexus soarer twin turbo- any good?
I thinkn they are cheap because they are so ugly! lol I think the vast majority are autos. Probably less cheap than a zed to fix IMO...

To Buy Or Not To Buy
My issue (apart from the cost of insurance) is the running cost of these cars. I am on my second one and I have spent thousands just keeping them on the road, let alone modifying. I don't want to put you off but just make sure you have a slush fund in case it needs something major doing to it...

Ebay to55ers
You should be able to get that -ve feedback removed mate. He was selling a car with an inaccurate description. He would have known it was cat C. and he should have stated it. Contact ebay and see what they can do...

Where can I get these?
Thanks for the help. I got them changed over to some new shiny hoses and connections yesterday at a place call Pirtek in Luton. Fantastic quality and the price wasn't too bad either! Now I am ready for the track...

Boost sensor
Yes, that is where the stock boost sensor is. It feeds the signal back to the stock boost gauge under the speedo. You can remove it or you can leave it plumbed in like me...

Donington - 16th March
Wahey! I don't think you will have turbo envy as even on the longest straight nobody gets above 120mph. I will N/A envy on all the slower corners. You have a better final drive ratio and no lag. plus you have a slicktop. I think you might be the fastest there!

Donington - 16th March
Come on Mark you'll love it. My place was booked by my mate so I am in the beginners (along with a mk2 golf, a mazda mx5 and a WRX scooby). I entered in the intermediate group last year at Donington, I think the groups are all pretty similar on these open days. If a few of you boys with zeds go in the intermediate group I might see if I can switch. It's always nice to be able to compare apples with apples! :D :D :D

Donington - 16th March
Yeah, I'm going up north! As you know with Zeds, they are never "completely" fixed! It should get me there, round the track faster than everyone else and then home. Hopefully! lol

Cloverfield
I don't have anything against the camera work but the story had no beginning, no middle and no end. let alone any real explanation as to what that alien thing is, where it came from, what happened to NY. and above all, why would the US military keep a stupid video about a college party? makes my blood boil. In fact, it makes me want to download for films and not pay to go to the cinema any more. rant over...

Donington - 16th March
Cool. Do it!

Cloverfield
WTF? This is the worst film I have seen in ages. I nearly walked out of the cinema! Are you all mad? :headvswal

Donington - 16th March
Excellent, let me know when you have booked it. lol - that MX5 does not know what is going to hit it!

trouble fitting front deep dish rims
What size are the spacers? Yes, a number of people use longer studs as this is a lot safer if you are using 10-15mm spacers. This is unlikely to cause any problems. You could opt for bolt on spacers like mine, which do not need long studs. Click here to see what I mean I think you should fit spacers first then have the camber adjusted. I had significantly less -ve camber on the front once I had fitted the 25mm spacers. In fact, I am thinking about putting them back on. Also, as a side point, I think there is too much fuss made about camber. OK, we would all like to have our zeds looking nice and straight but a little -ve camber can really help with turn in and doesn't wear tyres as much as you think. Ask yourselves, do you want to drive it or just polish it? lol

A idea i had for the rear lights
That looks OK, not bad at all when you consider some of the conversions available. But I have to ask why would you want this? Does it look better than the standard 99spec? I'm not convinced. Plus, it would be a lot of work...
