  1. Yes, I hope to be there. The problem is my Zclub membership has expired and I am too tight to fork out another £30 to get in the hall of fame. I'm gutted I lost the ticket proving my 13.67 second 1/4 mile.:headvswal that would have got me in no problem!!!
  2. I'm going to try and make it too! :hyper:
  3. Have a good one treacle!
  4. I'm hoping to make this Steve, see you there!
  5. I have had dreads in the past although they weren't very good! I am playing the didje, getting a lot better too, just need to sort out the circular breathing  I don't think there is such a thing as a mid life crisis. It is just a convenient term for stereotyping anyone who buys a porsche in their 40s!!!
  6. Thats a shitter daz. But every cloud has a silver lining. Now you can toss that old space-saver wheel away and save a bit of weight instead. Its a performance upgrade! lol
  7. lol Since splitting up with my old girlfriend I have pierced my tongue and bought a didgereedoo! I don't think this can be classified as a mid life crisis but I don't think it would feel much different TBH. Good fun though, innit! lol
  8. Cool, doesn;t look like they have uploaded them yet. Thanks Marco...
  9. hey marco, remind me again, whats the name of the company who takes photos as you go round? I can't remember! Thanks. Oh, and I can't agree with you more, I love Donny and learning how to get the lines right is great fun. 100 times better than driving on the road... :nana2:
  10. I am very happy with the Ferodos, they lasted no problem on numerous 20 minute sessions at Donny on Sunday. no fade whatsoever. I cannot imagine you are going to need a better pad than this for a lap round the ring. I think Dan (DTA) sells them, drop him a PM...
  11. Was a great day out, shame about the rain, but you learn very quickly where the limit of traction is and the size of your balls in those conditions. The car is filthy because I took it for a spin on the grass. doing about 55-60 out of coppice before the main straight, only gently on the gas as I am unwinding the steering but I went into a long drift that I couldn't quite wrestle back! Great fun. Although my mate in his golf rolled it and had a bit of a shocker!
  12. First session is 9am I think but we need to be there for safety briefing beforehand. If you fancy popping up later, we will be there all day...
  13. hundred miles or so and the should be fine. General rule of thumb...
  14. I was clearing out the attick the other day, lookingn through some old phioto albums and I was thinking "what did we used to do before we had draw?" LOL I am proud to be welsh, what a day! what a great tournement for Wales! :hyper: :hyper: :nana2: :hyper: :hyper:
  15. Yeah I have the Ferrodos on mine with the Brembos and it stops very well. Although they squeak like a MoFo... I am a little worried about the track comment as I am off to Doninigton tomorrow morning. I hope I don't wear out the pads before the end of the day!
  16. That's a shame :headvswal You should come along to watch anyway. I know the M1 is shut but I think we can get on at junction 10, luton. I might be able to sort out a couple of extra helmets if anyone needs one. Just give me a call if you need to know anything. Mike...
  17. No worries mate, I will see you there! :hyper: :hyper: I know Silverbullet is going to rendezvous with me in St Albans. I think Andy Isherwood and CooperSWB may come along too! :hyper: :hyper:
  18. OK, for those of you who are coming along. We will start the convoy at 6am at the King William pub, 185 Sandridge Rd, St. Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 4AH Its on the corner of sandridge road and beech road. From there we will jump on the M1 and get going. Sorry it is such an early start but it is a long way we don't want to burn too much fuel in a rush to get there. Anyone needs me for anything, the number is 07729 346 055... NB. Don't forget your helmets!
  19. And listening to it burble as you slow down in second gear up to some traffic lights, you don't get that in an auto! The manual is just a completely different car to drive. I can understand using auto if you have a weak left leg. I can understand if you have a fast road auto with a shifg at will kit, but the rest of you lot should be driving stick shift! :D
  20. Do you want me to have a word with her? :mac1: :D
  21. Nice one matey! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Does that mean you are going to come up to Donny on Sunday? You know you want to! :D
  22. PMSL
  23. I know the feeling! :headvswal BUT the manual conversion wont cost too much more. Go for that instead. Why replace when you can upgrade?
