I got mine professionally refurbed. changed the centres from red to satin black and had the lip polished. This cost £75 per wheel IIRC, you might be able to get it cheaper if you only need the centres treated...

I am including things like spacers need to clear front wheels and labour. which I would have needed to pay for if I went down the Ksport route anyway. The problem was that this setup came with no pads, the discs turned out to be warped! and now it looks like one of the pistons is sticking! I've just had enough of it all - the joys of owning a zed. Yeah, I know I will need to get a small part of the line replaced. The bugger is I can't even move the car until it is fixed. Also - I just added up what it has all cost me so far to fit this setup and I am only about £50 short of the cost of the brand new 8pot Ksport discs and calipers! D'oh I wish I had gone for them instead. Does anyone want to come rouond and help? There will be beer tokens involved...

Since fitting my new (unwarped) discs on my R33 brembo setup there has been a scraping noise occaisonally coming from the front drivers side so I thought I would take a look. I found the dust plate was scraping so I bent that back a bit. Then I spun the disc and the noise was still there. :confused: I thought this must be a seized piston in the caliper, so I will take it off and inspect. D'oh - I have just bent and crakced one of the brake lines and there is a slow dribble of fluid coming out! It is the little metal peice of tubing right after the braided line stops. :cry: So now my zed is up on a jack and I can't do anything about it. What can I do? Who can help me?

Thanks for all the advice guys (and Sarah), You are all right, it is a 7 year itch. The only reason it all came out in the open is that I have been bottling it up for about 12 months. It feels good to get it off my chest even if it does hurt a lot. I think I am going to take a week or so and just mull it all over, talk to my friends and family and see how I feel. Thanks again...

Me and my girlfriend of 7.5 years have decided to take a break so I can work out what I want. Update, It turns out there were a couple of hoses that were not in perfect condition, these have been replaced but have not made any difference. Basically it will happily sit at 7psi when the EBC is off. Then it will overboost when the EBC is on (regardless of settings). After I have turned the EBC off it will continue to overboost. I presume that this is because one of the wastegates/actuators gets stuck when hot. If I leave the car for a couple of days it will happily go back to 7psi. Can anyone think of anything stupid I may have overlooked? I desperately want to sort this out. Thanks again, Mike...

It gets a little boring on the welsh motorway but you can spice things up a little by taking the "old" severn bridge. Just peel off onto the M48 and it will take you over the bridge and allow you to join the M4 soon afterwards. This is a 2 lane motorway that has little to no traffic on it. Great fun if you want to open the throttle! There are some craking roads around haverfordwest. just keep an eye out for tractors! LOL...
