best brake pads?
Thanks guys, I can't help but LOL because everyone recommends something different. I am going to be using them for mostly road use with the occasional (maybe twice a year) track day. Can anyone else help before I contact Danny? Thanks again...

best brake pads?
I've got a set of R33 GTR brembos heading my way :nana2: :nana2: and I need to get some pads for them. A lot of people have told me to get Ferodo DS2500 and a couple of others have said get Hawk pads. What do you motley crew think I should do? And who stocks either of the above? Thanks, Mike...

Overboost Problem!
Are you 100% sure you are not getting det? If you are (and assuming the knock sensor picks up on this then it will switch your ECU on to the det map. This will/should p1ss fuel into the engine so it is running rich and should stop the detonation.

Stop Buying Petrol!!!
Not that I am particularly bothered by the environment but the high price of petrol encourages people to use more economical cars and use less fuel anyway. If petrol prices dropped we would just use more of it...

Wish Me Luck, lol
Sounds like you had a good productive weekend. Splitting those rear lights is a right basteward. I ran out of patience and split a set. Was lucky enough to pick up a set of 99s for a good price soon enough though.

Standard wheels and spacers
Get him to buy some flash new 18" rims with a deep dish on the rear. then slam it to the floor with some expensive coilovers. Then it will look good...

Help! Brake Upgrade?
I thought there would be too many issues. This setup is currently going for just over £400 on ebay, being sold by a member of zclub if anyone's interested. I knew it would need some fabrication to fit but it sounds like a nightmare. I would definitely need some bigger rims too. Thanks for the help...

Help! Brake Upgrade?
I really want to fit these monster brakes to my zed. I know they will not just bolt on. But does anyone know what would be required to make them fit? Has anyone done anything quite like this before?

Whats the Ultimate £4k Car?
This is the description. loads more pics on the sxoc website... ""The time has come to sell my s13 to move onto newer things, been toying with the idea for the last year and finally brought myself to sell it as i don't really use the car much, only use it for work about once or twice a week and then a few shows a year. Right its a 92 s13 with 110,000 miles on the clock, 6 months tax, and from memory theres about 6 months left on the MOT. CA18DET had a rebuild in November 05 with new big ends, oil pump, valves, stem seals, Wisco 1mm over sized forged pistons, new thermostat, new rad, new tubby (T28) I replaced the water pump 4 months ago. Pretty much replaced everything on the car, running at stage 2. Custom exhaust HKS downpipe, decatpipe, 5in backbox, its about 2 1/4in straight through. T28 turbo, Walbro fuel pump, stage 2 chip from Jez, K&N filter, after market intercooler, hardpipes, silicone hoses, oilcatch tank, Spax adjustable shocks with lowering springs, HKS camber adjusters, new rear pads with new Brembo discs, front grooved Brembo discs. 17in alloys with 1000 mile old tyres 215/45 on front and 235/45 on rear. Ive stripped most of the interior out of the rear and fitted Cobra bucket seats Turbos running 1 bar of boost through an Apexi AVCR also has boost and oil pressure gauges, Apexi turbo timer I think thats everything. At a recent rr day at AP motors it made 300.1 bhp i love driving it, the cars been a good project over the last few years i think im going to move onto an s14a.Its in very good condition for the age of the car. If i can't get what i want for it i may break he car up for parts. Im open to offers but im looking for about £3000. I also have loads of parts for sale, T25 bearings feel good and it didn't smoke when i took it off the car £40. Saab FMIC with loads of piping £30. Adjustable T28 actuatior £35. and a few head light units. also have 30mm wheel spacers £80 Ill be at JAE this year camping with the ultimate jap car boys ill also be on there stand. Wastegate stuck closed
personally there is no slow spooling when it overboosts, but the I believe the wastegate is only stuck shut when it gets hot. I have been running a profec bspec2 and it is only after I have been running with it on (and for a while after I have turned it completely off) that it has been overboosting. I know it is not the EBC itself because it still happens for a period after switching it off. All the hoses are in good condition and the solenoid has been swopped for a known good one. Please help me out if I am wrong but I think the only things left to check are the actuators and the wastegates? Mine is going to be looked at by Martyn in about a weeks time...

Skating the vert ramp
I do most of my skating at Harpenden outdoor park. It's not big but it has a super sweet mini ramp and plenty of other things to keep you occupied. Saffron Walden is not too far away, may need to check it out. I am definitely up for a zed/skate meet. Chris - you should definitely start skating again, it might hurt when it goes wrong but it puts a smile on your face and helps you feel young...

She's alive mwa hahahahahah!!!!!
Nice one Nick, that'll save you a few quid and a headache!

Skating the vert ramp
Mate I am well impressed. I am skating all the time at the moment and learning a lot too. I have been learning mini ramp and spine transfers as well. And I love to bust out a quick backside heelflip every now and again! I have not even dropped in on a vert ramp, the things scare the living sh*t out of me. I wonder if there are any other zed owners who skate?
