Hello mate, hitting 16.5psi shouldn't be a problem if you have had a remap to adjust the fueling. Also - you should be able to adjust the "gain" to stop this happening, have a play with it and see if it works for you...

With my old N/A I used to cover a lot of miles. Having said that I did blow 2 rads on long distance journeys. This was more to do with old/perished plastic connections. Check these before you go and obviously keep an eye on the temp gauge!

They are Enkei Racing S (yours are 17"). When it comes to centre caps, I would not know where to start. You will probably find it easier to get hold of some blank ones or some with a Z logo on them...

Hi B19rks, Just looking at this thread from earlier in the year about overboosting and I think I have an identical situation. I have a Profe b spec 2 controller and I am experiencing the same problems you had, it was working fine for 8 months now it is overboosting like a maniac. I think it may be sticky actuators/wastegates but I was wondering if you found out what was causing your issues and how you sorted them out. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Great :( I understand that using a compressor could diagnose that one of the wastegates is sticking but I did not know it could cure the problem. Time to call the mechanic I think...

I am assuming the plumbing is correct because it was working well until recently and all tubing seems to be attached. Also - I have tried a replacement boost controller solenoid and I have the same problem. How easy is it to replace the offending sticky wastegates/actuators? I am a mechanical novice. Thanks,

Now I am experiencing overboost occasionally when the controller is OFF. I presume this must be sticky wastegates. What else could cause this to happen? Thanks again, Mike...

When I got my car the previous owner said that he had adjusted it to make it as loud as possible, I presume that he changed the plastic inserts. I want to tighten the whole lot if I can because if it is too loose it can have an effect on the running at idle...
