I am using the turborevs boost controller and and am getting half a second of boost spike between 3rd and 4th gear which hits 16.5 psi, is this half a second dangerous or not? or would i need a longer spike to cause problems?

Hello mate,

hitting 16.5psi shouldn't be a problem if you have had a remap to adjust the fueling.

 

Also - you should be able to adjust the "gain" to stop this happening, have a play with it and see if it works for you...
