i know just how you feel vinniboy................. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=58077 i was lets say a bit cheesed off. what did annoy me was the fact that right below my advert was a guy with the exact same wording............and guess what, nowt happened to him. also, someone has to report you to get that advert removed, another reason i was annoyed. anyway, i now know you shouldnt do it (even if everyone else does), so i want do it again! i just relisted it after without the "not GTO, supra, impreza blah, blah, blah"! ;)

when mine was an auto i thought the "take off" was rubbish (once in second it was ALOT better though ), when i got the car i expected to be launched back into the seat and sadly i wasnt. dont know if there was a problem with the gearbox? :confused: i have now had it converted to manual and it spins in 1st,2nd,3rd :hyper: . although to be honest in a straight line the auto is dare i say it.......slightly faster :nelson:

most people spend £3,4,5K on mondeos and vectras we just choose to spend that same amount on a sports car. think people are just upset that they cant have one, hence the comments :x:

im feeling pretty "brassed off" already this week as my exhaust on my van has decided to fall to bits, and it would be the part with the "cat" on it! so this is obviously gunna cost me a bit. plus ive just spent £300 on it sorting out the brakes and dodgy gas (lpg). then some muppet has decided to drive down the side of my van leaving a very nice dent/scratch!! i know accidents do happen but at least have the decency to admit to it instead of driving off leaving me to sort/pay for the damage..........all this being money that could be well spent on the zed! :rant: :rant: :rant: ahh, the joys of motoring :D

im with norton on a classic policy (done through heritage as norton are a brokers), and they told me if i was to exceed the 5k limit that i would not be covered. hope you dont have this prob mate!

i have heard people say this myself ( but then some say they are fine), whats the reason for not using additives?

my vauxhall combo van is a duel fuel (LPG). on £20 i get 300 miles round town :hyper: . this is obviously good, however if you compare the amount of litres of LPG against litres of petrol to do the same 300 miles, i would use more gas than petrol (only slightly but still more). so if LPG is ever brought up to the same price as petrol it would actually work out more expensive to use it, only by a couple of quid per tank but over the year those extra pennies add up! so it wouldnt be worth paying £1000+ to have the conversion done. im sure i heard that the price of LPG is supposed to be "frozen for the next two years"? :confused:

what was reason for changing it in the first place?

about 6 months ago one of the pubs in my town went to a non smoking pub. i have to be honest it was nice for me and my wife to go home after a night out without smelling smoke on our clothes. so i personally am not against banning smoking in pubs. however im not going to get on my high horse so to speak and whine/moan about others who choose to smoke, its your choice. i will though go to places that do ban smoking rather than those that dont. especially in a restaurant, i dont think theres anything worse for a non smoker to be sat next to someone smoking whilst you are eating. im not complaining about what it does to the atmosphere etc if i was i wouldnt drive a zed/motorbike (although may not be on a bike in the next 10yrs :confused: ), just saying i personally dont like the smell of it...........and it gives me asthma :o . as mentioned by others though, im sure if the sales of fags drop they will then put this cost onto something else such as our fuel or beer, so there wont be any pubs left cos no one will go cos it will be too expensive and there wont be any zedders cos it will be too costly to fill up your motors........................................................................................................come to think of it dont ban smoking!!! ;) and i do sincerely hope my comments (which is all there are) dont offend or upset any of you.

changed mine from a 15ft cable to a 15inch cable and still no change

when i rang tiscali yesterday a voice message was played saying: "due to high call volumes waiting times could be high. unless your issue is urgent please ring back tomorrow". my guess is a few people are having issues with them! when i do run the speedcheck i get speed connections going from 138kbps - 322kbps..........i know this isnt worth £25 a month! :rant: not sure whether to cancel my broadband and sign up with someone else???

i set it up about a year ago so i know you can get it cheaper now, but i know its for unlimited download at 1mb, no calls included though.

having real probs with this at the min, my internet is stupidly slow considering im paying £25 per month for broadband (and i only go on this site!!!). rang them last week to which the reply was "there is something wrong with your computer". so i ran "killdisk" and wiped everything then reloaded it all.................still running slow!!!!!!!! :rant: :rant: :rant: just rung them now to which i was told "turn off your norton, turn off your firewall, and see if that helps"! :confused: he then wanted me to monitor my computer for a day and "see how it goes"! anyway after playing up with them he eventually ran some test from his end (so to speak) and came back saying "so mr welsh i can see from my tests that you have been proved correct, there is some line problem. i will forward this to the technical department who will contact you ..........in the next 2 days!!!". (and he cant guarantee that i will be getting any adjustment to my bill after the probs im having) why does it take a week of ringing tiscali help desk in india before you get anywhere??? any one else had problems with them, or suggest a better server? :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

might be worth asking "jeffTT", think he has alot to with zedworld? ;) just as an example: took my car to him to have the oil/filter changed and a couple of other bits done. and i had also agreed to buy from him some uk spec rear wheels, and a k+n induction kit (was to collect these same day he did other bits for us). when i picked the car up he had fitted the wheels and filter free of charge! i know it doesn take hours to do this but there wasnt any need for him to do it, its just that hes a genuine decent bloke! :bow: hey..........hope i get some discount off my next bill for this jeff??? ;)

had all my work done by jeff and i would have no probs going there again. i know as you have said some like him some dont :confused: personally im very happy with what hes done for me!

if any of you were sad enough (i was :o ) to be watching columbo yesterady, did you notice the zed parked opposite columbos car just as he was about to enter a very "posh party"? i didnt spot it at first, it was my wife who noticed it!!!

i ended up on the receiving end of a scammer. he kept signing in with new user names then when you bought something from him guess what......it didnt arrive!!! :rant: as said fair enough your not allowed to add the "not gto, poopra etc" but when they remove my ad for this and then let those scammers remain, it all seems a bit screwed up to me :confused:
