  2. from what i've read so far on the net and through other petrol heads.....apparantly the z32 can run around the 700hp mark at stage 2 chip with freeflowing exhaust . good induction kit. can't remember the site but there's a breakdown and dyno results for an auto tt.thats still an everyday driver. i'll try find it
  3. when i bring your wheel back i'm gonna have to get some of those mirror ones chris.

  8. does any 1 have a picture of a manual box showing what each plugs job is ? i figure one is the speed sensor the one near the gear stick is the reverse switch but what is the other plug ?

  11. just hit the streets mate. people just leave em out when theyre broke. knock on and check first though!!!
  12. i agree with point made. but would like to ask in my case........i own an auto tt and have been after a manual gearbox and came across a manual car. in the process of this job i have left over a gearbox and two calipers .so i initially thought that if anyone wanted them at a ridiculously low price then they can have them. as i know what its like hunting for parts.would this be classed as being a trader? how would you be able to judge whether someone is trading for actual profit or just offering things at mates rates prices so to speak. i know the prices of things so i delibrately price any thing i have left much lower than the actual value as i'm not a trader ,in hope that i may be of some help. imo it seems like a difficult one.
  13. thanks for that. i've decided to use tt caliper so the disks fit once again. a little gutted cos the na calipers are like new.!! oh well best to be safe.
  14. :smartass: needed . .i have a tt auto jdm. 1990. also just broke na jdm1994. i've had to use complete suspension, hubs etc for the tt as most it was well worn and neediing attention. but i've found the offset on the na disks are different to the tt. so is it for reasons to do with the power...or is it because they made changes on the later models. ?????? will the na 94 brake set up do for now?
  15. in the boot theres a few that go directly to the body. if you remove all the trimmings you'll see a couple of good practical options.
  16. thats my usual way!! nowt finer than chuckin a motor on its side and hackin away with the old ratchet!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. car was in air on jack point lift. just removed suss top bolts then 8 subframe bolts lowered it with gearbox lift . and apart from the abs plug and hicas pipes/plugs thats it. my life was made easy today in my pals garage. cheers to the unknown mechanic!!! fuel tank wasn't in way eiter mate. a very easy job really. as you'll already know....its the sprucing up of any bits that catch your eye what slow the job up. eg , blemishes etc
  18. the old sub frame is HEAVY na is light!!!! i like seein her lose the pounds!!!!
  19. i'd say about 2 n half hours including touching ups on under seal. it felt like it took longer to strip boot plastics out!
