  4. cheaper ic units perform as well as expensive ones as far as i'm aware. the main difference between is cheap means heavy softer alloys. expensive means lighter harder alloys. usually.
  5. A z i've stripped today for gearbox etc, just so happens to have had uprated suspension. it looks pretty new which is good. they're sustec ,tanabe street gas filled shocks plus springs.not adjustable. i will be using these for my z as mine are very tired [like me!] so anyway i was wondering does anyone know anything about them? please.

  14. i'm basically a turbo addict. it started with an uno ie then a renault 21 then came an audi. and although they were nippy , fwd was a let down. so i turned to the japs and bought a wild scoob.it was great but the ride was shocking. so i've landed here with a solidish z, and its the only car i've had that i love.

  20. do you know these cars from head to toe? cos i've just done the clocks and when i removed the column under panel, the wires looked ....well....dint look good ! not tidy at all. stuff like that worries me.!!
  21. cheers mikey. you'll be hearin from me. scoobs n transits are my only experience,at a glance these zedz look a little more technical!
  22. i may sound stupid here . when i do the auto to manual convert ,should the gearbox ecu also be changed. ? knowledge is power and so far i don't have much knowledge on these cars.
