It's not really paint as such with the stuff they put in that, alot of oils and chemicals, i sprayed some motorbike bits with it once and lightly bumper it with my knee in a corner and the whole thing broke apart, doesnt mix with any other brand of spraypaint either, goes all crows feated.

I don't know what you guys have to pass in the way of emission laws, but reading about people running decat etc im guessing you're fine, in that case ditch EGR and AIV's definately. just take the egr pipes from the exhaust mani and intake plenum, cut the pipes off them and weld them shut with a mig. you can buy delete kits but not much point. aiv's are in the back of the wheel arch under a guard cover (closest to rear of car) If you are feeling more adventurous and depending on how cold it gets there, somebody local can probably better advise on this, delete the throttle body water cooling system from under the plenum, they perish and you have to buy the special pre bent hose kit from nissan which aint cheap, alot of write ups on this will talk about running a bit of 8mm hose from point A - B... but i took the heater pipes off the back of the motor and got them brazed shut. Also don't do what my clever mate did when helping me work on my car, and this is apparently quite common, is plug the windscreen squirter hose onto the engine thinking it is a vaccum line, very easy to do when you find the extra hose and you look around, without the bonnet there and having deleted the AIV's it was a... oh that must go here! Then it snapped 4 rods. :sad: On that bombshell. Good luck. :santa:
