Can't put this in site suggestions... But could we have a projects/build thread section? From what i've seen on other forums best each person has 2 threads, one for the build with pics and updates, then a discussion thread people can put the replies in, then the build isnt spread across 20-30 pages of comments.

Alright i'll be nice, here's me having a sit in my mates r32 gtr, we were discussing how stupidly fast it is... had the more in a stagea.... wanted to go faster... in the 32gtr is was simply undriveable @ 640kw at all 4 wheels... so its currently running 569KW @ all 4 corners... All built by him, every part you could possibly imagine... I have more pics if people want more...

At this stage it's a tidy up, paint the underbody, wire tuck, bodykit, suspension, wheels, engine bay smoothing, bucket seats etc, its all prettymuch done now as it did get down to a complete bare shell. So i'm pretty close to having it going. Decided to wait on the engine swap as i want to drive it a bit first so i know what i want in it to suit my driving style and the car... Then it just needs a paintjob, but that and the engine can wait a couple of years, i just want to get it sorted and enjoy it for a while. Alot of little details i will add over time to it. Here's a video i took a while back, well more a slideshow of pics, then i decided to remake all the wiring looms and relocate alot of things so its all come apart to what you see in pics above... Yes but it also gets trapped in places in the galleries inside the engine and in the heater matrix. The engine is designed to be bled level.

Been a shaky month really, car got left untouched for at least 4 weeks, i just wasn't happy with my progress the car is in the final parts of the main build, more plans to come gradually over the next 2-3 years. Has taken about 17 months so far, and i often found myself in the last month thinking about how close i am to completion, really how little there is to do to get it on the road. Usually i just can't seem to turn that desire into actualy working on it. I just think, i'm over it, and really feel like i'm getting nowhere with it. Today was a bit different i looked at her sitting there and decided it was time to get the dash and heater out and start running the new wiring loom i'm making, so there won't be any wiring visable in the bay whatsoever, still trying to figure out where the engine harness can run without being seen, my best bet is a quick dash across the bellhousing, i can't think of any other way without having to extensively modify the engine loom. Alas my interior that was fully together now lays in ruins while i sort out this damn wiring, ahh well it'll be worth it in the end, i'm pedantic i know Engine has all its operating wiring in place and the gearbox wiring doesn't even enter the bay, the whole loom that loops around the front of the car is now remade to go inside the car, the only wires past the firewall are for headlights, horns, indicators, and the electric fan. and they go under the guards anyway Got the exhaust on today as well, as far as a detailing point alot of that will come at bodywork stage so excuse the lack of concourse quality lol Anyway enough babble, i'll let the pics say the rest, let me know what ya reckon: My poor interior, rm in i just noticed i managed to get my drift charm coming into the corner like a pedo communist. The gearbox wiring coming through its new entry on the transmission tunnel (2 big holes to left are where AC pipes usually come though from engine bay) Passenger side of the bay only engine loom remains, can be seen going into its standard hole in this pic. An overall shot of the current state of the bay, alot going on at once The exhaust mounted up. Still lots to do as you can see.
