All my zeds except my current turd had cruise control, I always used it, probably saved me from various speeding tickets :)

Its a standard wheel and just hasn't got cruise control, check out where the buttons on the pod would be.

Not sure about relay etc but it could be they haven't be used for so long and are just a bit stiff to get started? Mine were like that and with a bit of wd40 and a helping hand for a few goes they now work fine (one moves a fraction faster than the other)

I would love to hear these reasons if pioneer doesn't mind it being public knowledge.

My Zed always started too but a full charge solved my issue.

Imports will do the diagnostics as I did it on my old 90 TT and it worked fine. My changes were a bit lazy and the gearbox would occasionally not start in first but it ended up that my battery didn't have much life left in her.
