I'm. Insured with classic line and my policy states for social and commuting as that's what I asked for, been with them for years now as they are fantastic, I'm insured to use daily for social and commuting and they don't mind that its parked on the driveway all with 5000 miles a year (barely even manage that) at around £400 a year. Highly recommended company in my eyes.

Cheers for the concern richard but I did tell my insurance company that I use it as a daily driver so I know I'm covered should the worst happen :thumbup:

Thought I'd ask on here before ringing my insurance as I know a few members have owned them before. As the title states, does anyone know if these cars are insurable on a classic policy? I only ask a I need something with a bit more space than my zed but also want something a bit fun as well. The only issue I've got is that I've been on a classic policy for so long as my daily drive that my ncb has all expired so even shitty modern cars cost a fortune to insure. Any help or advice would be great fully received.

Have to agree,89 spec for me any day but each to their own.

That zed looks fantastic now mate, I personally prefer the 89 spec bumper but its your zed and you should modify it to your taste. Either way top job so far! :thumbup:

The police are just a bunch of lazy useless tw4ts! When my car got broken into, I found the arseholes finger prints from where they bent the door and the police weren't even interested.

Blown fuse in the foot well mate. I had this after the garage did some work on my first zed. Can't remember which fuse it was though.

Heating with a hot air gun is the way to go and if you leave some of the glue behind, use nail polish remover, auto panel wipe, lighter fluid, even baby wet wipes work but I find orange kitchen cleaner works well and is probably the cheapest too.

Cash sales are also a risk nowadays due to fake notes, balance transfer or even taking the buyer to the bank with the cash is probably the safest way not to get mugged off.

bloke has now dropped the price to £2350 if you buy as is. just messaged him and he said its had some wlding to the sub frame, and "no rust that he knows of". it also doesn't smoke excessively.

+1 mate, its too soft and round for the zed, looks like a mk4 fiesta si bumper.
