  2. Happy birthday mate :happybday:
  3. Happy birthday mate :happybday:
  4. Murdered a prostitute and disposed of his/her (depends on what you like) body?
  5. Looking forward to seeing this Zed of yours mark
  6. Welcome to the forum mate. Unfortunately when it comes to Zed parts in the UK, we are bent over and shafted on price as there isn't as much of a market as there is in the US or Japan. You may be able to get what your after but certainly not at the same price as your used to. Good luck on the search mate.
  7. It'll be worth every penny once you hear it fire into life like a rumble of thunder and then proceeds to turn the doner vehicles tyres into molten rubber
  8. Not 100% sure I need this yet, but after replacing my standard 16's with a slightly larger and much wider set of 18's I've noticed that my drivers side front wheel was rubbing the inner arch on turning. On inspection, the wheel is 3cm closer to the rear of the arch than it should be! I need to get the car off the ground to have a proper look and measure but preying its a bent wishbone rather than a crash damaged chassis. The annoying thing is that the previous owner must have known as the tracking has been adjusted to keep it driving in a straight line. So at the moment all I need is everyone that is breaking a Zed to give me the best price for the wishbone delivered (as I am very skint at the moment) and I will hurry up and find out for sure if its the wishbone or the chassis.
  9. I bet after buying that, your mates wallet doesn't weigh much either!!
  10. Tell your mate he can fit that in my Zed if he wants
  11. That's life I suppose, as least he will be back to perfect condition in no time. By the way, are you ready to let me have your seats yet? :)
  12. Tried mate but no response.
  13. At the cost of the car wash that scratched it I hope?
  14. Hello again mate. Still haven't heard from you. Could you please get in contact as I want to offer the prize for auction so the money can got to the clubs choice of charity.
  15. I insure under classic in a shit area for just over £200 with 5 thousand miles allowance ( although they said that if I want to up it then that's fine) and use it as a daily. I too was quoted stupid money if insured on a standard policy, I did move to another car after selling my TT but that lasted about a month at most before I bought another Zed!
  16. Noooooo!!!! What a waste, fantastic actor that will be sorely missed. RIP Robin Williams.
  17. Your best bet is to buy from an owners club/forum mate as these will be the most cared for cars that probably won't need too much work, if any. If you buy cheap then chances are you will need to spend money. Take your time, look at as many as possible and get the best you can for your budget. There are plenty of buyers guides available which can really help. If you see one for sale miles from yourself, usually you only need to ask and someone will gladly take a look at it for you. Good luck on your search mate.
  18. I usually just press the button in the pic below, add pic and upload.
  19. Sorry to hear that your employer is treating you like shit mate. My other half works as a support worker with mentally handicapped men in a supported living home. Her employer treats her colleagues and her self like shit too, their monthly rotas change from day to day and also like yours is not issued till the last minute. One week they will give her well below her hours then over triple her hours the following week. She has been hit, bit, slapped, kicked, spat on etc, only last night she came home and told me one of the guys had literally punched her in the face while she was doing his shoelace up! As far as the conditions of your sleep in room is concerned, there has got to be health and safety issues of sleeping in what sounds like a storage room, you should contact citizens advice. Not getting time with your kids sucks, I had to give up a very well paid job 7 years ago because I was working 12 to 16 hours a day and pretty much missed out on my boys first 3 years. Now I'm in a shit job that I hate and earn unbelievably crap wages! Keep applying for jobs mate, they are out there but it could take a while before you get one, I've been applying for months now without even one reply. I've even been trying convince the other half to contemplate emigration to Canada! Just keep your chin up mate, things can only get better!
  20. I'm sure there were plenty of decent n/a engines out there, after all rust is the zeds mortal enemy usually. Don't ruin a UK TT, after all they are the rarest of all the zeds out there.
  21. So according to that table the remote locking first appeared on the series 3, but it also states the newer spoiler is on the series 3 however my spoiler is the original 89 spec.
  22. Thanks for clearing that up gio. Just out of interest, you say you're is as series 3 93, what's the difference In a series 2 and 3 just so I know what my Zed actually is.
  23. Did the fob look like the one in the picture? Plus my Zed is a 93.
  24. As the title states, was remote locking an alarm an optional extra in Japan? Only reason I ask is because of the fob on my newest Zed... It looks kind of retro 90's era and is embossed with Nissan which kinda makes me think its original, although other than the arm and disarm buttons I am yet to figure out what the other 2 do.
