Both looking great mate. Tell me, have you ever taken yours to the track? Just wondering how it got on with sound limits and the screamer pipes lol

Few bits done and some to do.
Leave it grey, waste of time and money painting it imo

Stonechip looks really good and looks like you have been mega thorough! Did you do all around and above where the tank sits and was it a big deal to get the tank off? Does this stuff just stick to the old underseal?

What brand of spanners to buy?
Yeah I was just weighing up 9 swivel or 12 fixed sets, good discount on both. Was worried the swivel heads could actually be a hindrance even though I can see times they would be advantageous

Charged now for pay-pal gift!!!!!
I remember someone here saying something like you can only send money as a gift if you have it in your paypal account, if it's coming off a card you get charged. Don't know if that's right or not though

What brand of spanners to buy?
Mega helpful guys thanks a million! I just saw those Mark, bloody bargain considering they have a lifetime warranty as well. Bought a set of 4 Bluepoint adjustable grips ranging from 5-16" and a couple of pairs of mole grips recently, never realised just how useful grips were!

Thanks guys, unanimous votes there makes it easier! Does anyone have an opinion on the 6 or 12 point question?

What brand of spanners to buy?
I want to get a set of metric metric combination spanners. I would really like a set that the open end doesn't flare open over stiff nuts and round them off as the cheap set i've been using does. Any suggestions? Im not really in the market for Snap On stuff, as great as it is. Also..... What are your opinions on 6 and 12 point closed ends on spanners? 6 points grip better but with there being less positions available for it to slide on does this sometimes cause grief in tight situations? Cheers

compression test...
Does your pressure gauge have a solid or rubber shaft to it? Mine had a rubber one that had set a bit bent from the packaging and was a pig to get started into the threads as they are quite deep. I had this problem and left it on a radiator to warm up and then kept bending it back on itself to get it straight again. Something else to note is you should try to get the test completed as quickly as possible after turning the engine off so they are all read at the same temp. Why are you testing your compression?

compression test...
If anyone is helping you, you will know when you have cranked enough as the gauge won't go up any further

Also you'll need to remove your balance bar to get to the back cylinders, be careful not to loose any of the three rubber O-rings underneath as they are expensive to replace

Any recommendations for a good day out?
Yep, I was going to say Longleat as well. Then you could head down to Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door/Weymouth sort of area. Few Zedders around there as well!
