  1. I like this Wings West one and i've seen a modified Abflug Type 3 that doesn't have the 3 vertical holes in but can't find pics.
  2. You've got a totally unique Zed and you want to put a bloody Scarab bumper on it :slap:
  3. Does the auction say they will arrange shipping? You might be able to get them to ship them over or if not you could get them sent to a freight forwarding company
  4. Lol, might have to speak to the national grid people for some of that:lol:
  5. Outstanding, nice work
  6. You are going to need some hefty cable for that extra distance aren't you? Are you taking it under the car through the plastic brake line carrier?
  7. What are the standard and high output alternator amperage values?
  8. Have you seen this before? Not very usable after but it's been done http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?160876-A-sad-day-but-at-the-same-time-freakin-hilarious!!&highlight=transit+removal
  9. http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_images/HICAS-TT_Pump_Mod.pdf I saw this guide on the Oz site a while back, I think it has what you're referring to
  10. What was the verdict on it?
  11. Thought so but just checking, was getting a desire for a slicktop suddenly
  12. Did the roof kink up from the impact or from the forklift picking it up?
  13. I am, my Zeds in the carport outside thinking 'so..... how long does one have to wait for a heart transplant these days...':glare: 'Until i've saved enough for a new set of veins to go with it, that's how long' :sweatdrop: Nearly there!
  14. When was that taken Jeff? My car was in pieces outside last time I looked.....
  15. Who knows mate, as Vods said if you don't tell them they won't cover you in the event of a claim
  16. What a ball ache mate, i've heard a few times that even with declared mods the car will only be repaired to standard spec. Can you repair the bumper yourself then get the garage to spray it or is it to far gone?
  17. Very nice, I have 'workshop envy' Are you doing new skirting? When do find out what the new project is?
  18. Lol everyone says that, nope its a shorty
  19. Mines a Targa bud, do you have any sign there was a filler hole in the back of yours at any point?
  20. Is yours SWB? If so: -Open boot. -Remove the big plastic screw from the inside centre panel on the passenger side. -Remove the cover of the passenger side rear light and remove the screw holding the panel. -Pull the carpet back. -Follow the bottom edge around and there are 2-3 10mm nuts to remove. -Get your fingers in under the boot seal above the washer bottle and grab the panel in the hole where the rear light access is, gentle pull it away toward the centre of the boot. There is a clip holding the panel next to the water bottle on the inside, you are trying to disconnect this. -With that removed you can see all the bolts holding the water bottle in place. Remove them, disconnect the water pipe and push the rubber filler tube down through. -I would use something like bleach in hot water and shake the bottle to loosen all the algae. If you have a flexible wire brush you can shove inside that would be good. -Rinse thoroughly. -I would then replace the bottle, fill it, disconnect the washers at the splitter under the bonnet and flush a load of water through to clear anything lurking in the pipe so it doesn't get into the washer jets again. -Put it all back together Should take an hour tops, if you need pictures ask but it's all pretty obvious once you get started:biggrin:
  21. Taekwondo, swimming, athletics I can live with that
  22. This kit from the States has everything you need but unless you plan on getting a few bits the shipping will be expensive. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=1875 Luke at Zcentre has the blanks and exhaust bung at the least, maybe even the whole lot. It's not on the site but I know he has them. Give him a try and if he doesn't do the rest you can get the nipple caps on ebay
  23. Spend a load of money lol New loom, 1 piece prop, silicon vacuum hoses all round, find a standard ecu chip, repair plenum, swap engine parts, spray engine bay, pay for and fit my new tubs, put it all back together, refit dash, new windscreen, fit steering rod boot, might need new rear discs as well then MOT  Im going to do a build thread soon to keep me focused and get some input as I find myself doing lots of jobs at the same time and don't always know the best way of going about things. Really nice paintwork there Gary What are you planning for the front end Baz? Looks good already
  24. Looks smart mate, are you going for power upgrades next? I remember you were thinking of a boost controller a while back
  25. Tell me about it mate, was about to put a big order for parts in last week and the head gasket blew on my Passat, got it fixed and drove back to Norwich to go on holiday, loaded the bikes into the trailer and set off, 10 miles later the rear brake was binding ffs! Wallets taken a spanking but at least I now know how to do head gaskets
