  3. What do you have planned for fuelling Dan? Are you going to run a twin pump setup or anything like that?

  5. You had any joy sorting someone yet Ryan? Have you tried N.E. Motors 860123 in Ditcheat? I'd be surprised if he can't do it and if not let me know, I have a friend in Southwood who can possibly help if he's not still busy
  6. Not in my experience and try finding a well serviced 10-15 yr old 4M40 from a breakers yard.....
  7. The 2.8 TD is the Delica/Pajero engine I was thinking of earlier, yeah they have the same reputation. When I spoke to some off roading mates about them when I had one they reckon the cooling system isn't up to much so any extra strain on it caused by blocked rads/collapsing hoses/ the air con rad that's in front getting clogged with debris reducing airflow etc they get warmer and blow a head gasket and the heads are pretty prone to cracking as well. If he swaps the engine i'd get new hoses, new rad etc as well
  8. If it's in good nick then might be worth getting another engine put in but you still run the risk of the same thing with those engines and it's grief sorting it out. I think it's the same TD engine that's in the Delica and they are well renowned for it as well. Personally i'd just get a newer truck if money allowed but that's just my opinion, hope he gets something sorted ok
  9. Yeah I wouldn't waste a penny trying to fix that engine just get a new one in there or scrap the vehicle and buy a new one. What year is it?
  10. Not sure of the cost of head skimming tbh. If it was driven for 5 mins pulling a caravan with no water there's a big chance it's more than a blown head gasket. Fill it with water, check the oil level and see if you can get it started is where i'd start
  11. Nice one, seems to be a minimum $79.60 but that includes a decent weight allowance
  12. What was the shipping cost on that bud?
  13. Yeah they are pretty renowned for crap headgaskets. If it was struggling to turn over and the battery is good then it was possibly heat seized. Did he not notice the temp gauge going up?
  14. Have you adjusted the clutch pedal to compensate for the different clutch? Also pull the boot back on the slave cylinder and see if there is any fluid in there
  15. Standard or aftermarket clutch?
  16. The subtitles are appalling!
  17. I would if I was back Ryan but im in Norwich this week
  18. Lol at jap.slapper, where did the pics go? There are so many inappropriate comments that can be made about that second pic lmao
  19. Diet is a major factor in succeeding with training, at least half the battle imo. When im training I literally spend more time in the kitchen preping food than I do in the gym lifting iron. As much as I admire you for doing something you will unfortunately find that pressups and situps alone will result in little gain and that's when the enthusiasm dwindles. Have a clear, set program like this with variety and a challenge will work wonders with a clean diet imo
  20. Agreed and bear in mind he probably has to create the disc as well so lets give him a chance
  21. I sent my turbos to turbodynamics.co.uk this morning as per a recommendation by Jimmer. They do a free inspection and will then quote for the work needed. Or try these http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?162015-2-good-turbos-and-rebuild-kits
  22. Cheers Mark, didn't realise it was back in the thread I had connection problems last night and it was taking ages to load every page so gave up
  23. Have you got a link to that headunit Ryan?
  24. Started bottom right and was only able to make 2 moves....
