  1. Yeah ain't the easiest to do is it lol. If you use condensation trays as well I doubt the fans should will have an issue with moisture. Is there space in that hood for some?
  2. If you have any joy tell him to check his PM's i've been trying to catch up with him, cheers
  3. That is a nice tank Steams, let see some pics. Could you not mount the fans flat on the top of the hood at either end one blowing the other sucking?
  4. Have you actually cashed the first cheque and had it clear? I'd just send it back it's someone else's money
  5. Any idea how much a wrap for a Zed would be?
  6. So how do you check if there is enough oil going through the turbos? Just pull the drain pipe off and see how much is coming out?
  7. Smithy do you check the oil pressure on the oil return from turbo to sump? How would you plumb a gauge in, is it a case of fitting a sender/12v supply/gauge as if setup in car?
  8. As said it's alot of money if you go for the works but at the end you should have a top paint job in the colour you want and your Zed will look like new! You could see if you could cut the cost down by doing some of the prep work yourself such as masking up, rubbing down the original paint. I've had a few mates do this before and the paint shop was fine with it, just depends how involved you want to get and how much time you have. Could you deliver a rolling shell on a trailer? Last year when I spoke to Jeff at Zedworld he said it would be £150 ish to spray my engine bay and have a bit of a tidy up, this was with the engine already removed so their price of £300 would be more and as Jaikai said I wouldn't want someone taking my engine out and stripping the bay unless they knew exactly what they were doing as it will lead to no end of problems and further expense getting someone who knows how to do to put it right. Who is the guy on here that is the professional sprayer that I think comes from Wales or close by? Interested to hear from someone in the trade.
  9. That is a bummer mate but glad to see you're still moving forward. Have a good look around for any other sources of silicon debris before it goes back in. If there was one piece there could easily be more
  10. Are the prices including the cost of the paint? How bad is the rust, are you talking a minor arch flake sort of thing or buying new sills?
  11. I got quotes from http://www.uship.com as well when I moved mine last year but ended up going with a guy on shiply. Worth trying though
  12. Yeah order pistons at least 0.5mm oversize from what you have currently then take it to an engineering workshop and have the block cylinders bored to the new piston size and have the block decked. You will need to give the pistons to the workshop when you take the block in. Also give the shop your lower cradle and get it line bored as well if it's needed.
  13. I've also always heard getting stuff from the states is alot cheaper plus there are plenty of sites that do a full uprated rebuild kit. The most common combo used is Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods.
  14. No problem, I seriously think that's going to look the mutts nuts when it's on and also a very unique look, really excited to see the finished product. That CSL spoiler is damn nice but like you said it aint going to work with the hatch if it's not a perfect weave/colour match and it's also alot of money. Personally I think a spoiler like that needs to be quite high, it's just the style, anything less than 6 inches might look a bit odd but saying that if it's lower you might actually be able to see out the back window....
  15. That's very sad and upsetting to hear guys. My family has been a massive pet family and I know how hard it is when one passes on. Thoughts are with you :crying:
  16. Just measured mine to get perspective for that type of wing. My wing is 145cm across. The measurement from corner to corner of the boot lid where the back meets the side then flares around with the wing is 150cm (across the 3rd brake light). As you can see from the side shot it doesn't protrude at all and it's amazing how those things grow on you, didn't like it at all when i got it but quite like it now. IMO a carbon wing like the one you posted is the only wing that will suit your rear hatch.
  17. Protects them as well, even better, cheers
  18. Do you remember the name of it?
  19. 171 psi is standard. Minimum of 128 and no more than 14 psi between cylinders
  20. Am I right in saying you sorted a UK warranty with the tubs? So you won't have to ship back to the States?
  21. Good read as normal Pete keep them coming:thumbup: You guys and Jaffa competing at the time attack at Snetterton in September?
