  1. Looks bloody awesome, I wouldn't change anything apart from adding the front lip. Can you upload the pic of it? Is that a Veilside exhaust and what's the interior like? My rear wheels are tilted in at the top to make them fit under the arches and rolled to stop them catching the tyre. Any idea how much I can flare them before it starts to look crap?
  2. Funny you should say that as I think the complete opposite, I think the extra length of the the LWB really works being smooth. Saying that, recently I keep finding myself standing in the workshop daydreaming, 'I should remove the BGW for a bit and see if it works for me'. Then I come around and realise I should get it on the road first and promptly head to the kitchen to make a cuppa.....
  3. Yeah looked really good, definitely suited it. Another thing, as much as I've never been a fan of the smooth rear end it totally suits your car with those wheels and that stance. Very cool, unique Zed again :cool2:
  4. Back a week today but I'm guessing you'll be gone by then? What's the dates of your next trip?
  5. I've been off the forum for quite a while until recently so missed this. Yet again you own one of favourite looking Zeds! Absolutely love it! Did I see a pic on your photo bucket of a lip on the bottom of the front bumper?
  6. Noel, what's your personal opinion on the pros/cons of using a MAP and air temp sensor instead of a MAF? My turbo diesel has both, any benefit to that in a tuning scenario?
  7. I'm ordering some parts I need ready for when I get home. Is there any boost pressure/vacuum going through the mentioned hose, I just want to make sure I get one tough enough?
  8. Nice, looks a lot better with some beefier tyres, what size did you go for in the end? Any arch rubbing on lock?
  9. Would you guys mind reporting how you get on with these? I will need to get one soon and was planning on an ECUTalk lead but they're about £50.....
  10. When I removed my gearbox I found one of the short bolts was missing. Does anyone have one from a knackered box they wont be using anymore?
  11. Do you know what the standard size tyres are on a Zed?
  12. Thanks, I'd never have spotted that screw tucked away up there if you hadn't told me
  13. Just want to double check both loops go to the bolt on the back of the alternator?
  14. Yep it's a damn nice Zed, you clearly put a lot of time and money into it :cool2: It's given me motivation to keep plugging away at mine
  15. Few pics from yesterday, lucky Alan has his own colour coded parking space
  16. I'm free Tue, Wed and Thurs anytime of the day so give me a shout when you're free. Anyone else around Norwich free?

  18. Outstanding, I've been looking forward to seeing this Zed since I ran into Alan the other day at Tesco and he told me he was getting this

  20. If an engine is running an aftermarket boost controller the knock sensor becomes redundant right? Would it be possible to use the signal from the ECU that would normally trigger the safety boost solenoids to instead light an LED or sound a warning buzzer instead?
  21. Personally wouldn't bother with something like that. I got a quote yesterday for a Bosch S4 70amh with a 4 year guarantee for £55 from my local motor factors http://www.mpdonline.co.uk So give whoever you have local to you a buzz and see what they can do. You can get the same Bosch on eBay for about £60
  22. Sweet, what wheels are on her?
