  1. I don't know what I'm talking about ;)
  2. Im sure I read somewhere recently that 3" is only really necessary for larger numbers and that the cost of going to 3" is very expensive for the actual gains you get. I thought it was on the link I posted, but obviously I was wrong :(
  3. I use this site for a lot of information, I think I've read in here somewhere that 3" is only really necessary for larger performance gains. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/111250.html
  4. I was working in Peterborough all last week and it was there then
  5. I'll give you a ring later on, to sort it out
  6. I've got to go to Brundall tomorrow morning if that's any good to you?
  7. £100 delivered, You are at Norwich. Aren't you?
  8. I've got an auto box cheap if you want it, I'm only half hour away from you. In fact I've got two, but one is playing up.
  9. Auto box off my 70,000m jap TT. Never had any problems with it, removed due to manual conversion. Collection or can deliver within reasonable distance for cost of diesel and cup of coffee ;)
  10. It may be too late, but be aware the Chinese "knock-off" maf's can be known too be faulty/problematic. Well done for sorting it though!
  11. There should be a led on the side of the ecu ( although one of my ecu's doesn't have one), under the wooden plate in the passenger footwell. It is this that flashes. https://z32.wikispaces.com/ECU+Diagnostics
  12. Afternoons no good, I'll be finished in hemsby about 10 or 11, then got to go to Peterborough. I can meet up in between if it's any help.
  13. Just to add to the offers of help, I am working in hemsby on Monday, you're welcome to borrow a good maf if you can meet me?
  14. Good read Andrew cheers, and thanks for the reply noz. It's good to have someone who knows, explain it.i didn't fit them, but both my cars have them, looks like I'll be on hunt for some stock recircs in the near future after reading up on this!
  15. Some more advice please gentlemen! About to do a manual conversion and due to the exhaust pipe on the new car (the section that bolts on to the turbo) being rotten, I hope to use the pipes off of the old car. Now on the old car I have a japspeed system from the turbos back and on the new car car I have Greddy system from cat back. First question is what is the section that bolts onto the turbo called? I presume it's a decat? Second question, can I use this section from the japspeed exhaust and the Greddy catback? Do they join with the same flange? And lastly, the japspeed exhaust has no lambda/O2 sensors, so if I were to use this do I just unplug and remove them? Thank you. .
  16. So a large turbo'd car would benefit from them?
  17. Noz, how come having bov's would cause overfueling at high rpm?
  18. I don't know about postage, bit they're only about £40 on the ams site at the moment.
  19. Why not get the ams one? It's on offer!
  20. I've seen some for sale for 300zx recently, but can't seem to find them. I'm sure it was eBay.
  21. I believe so, markderbys supplying the conversion, plus rear oil seal, Spigot bush? and clutch line. He's assured me that he's supplying a full conversion, so other that fluids I should be good. - - - Updated - - - I'll take you up on your offer of help, much appreciated, Thanks.
  22. Cheers, I've seen that method mentioned on various threads. I've also seen a way of pulling it out with threaded rod. I'm sure I'll be on here soon with a new thread asking for advice ;)
